A method for making continuous encapsulated linear lighting is disclosed. In this method, a PCB is placed within a channel, and the channel is dammed by one or more stoppers. The dammed segment is filled and then caused or allowed to cure. The stoppers are then removed from their initial positions and moved along the channel. If one runs out of channel before the desired length of linear lighting is achieved, a second piece of channel is abutted to the previous segment of channel, the PCB is laid into it, and a segment is dammed, filled, and cured. The process continues iteratively until the desired length is achieved or more channel is required. The PCB may initially be cut to the full desired length and applied to the channel piecewise as needed.

Flexible lighting system

A representative embodiment of a lighting system includes a carrying bag having a first opening with a control panel cover; a mounting bracket arranged in the carrying bag; a power supply coupled to or arranged on the mounting bracket; a control panel arranged within the first opening and coupled to the mounting bracket; a first flexible light strip; a second flexible light strip; and a power cable coupleable within the carrying bag to the control panel, the first flexible light strip, and the second flexible light strip. The first and second flexible light strips are coupleable to the power cable to receive DC power from the control panel, and may be extended throughout a structure, such as a tent, using a plurality of hangers. In a representative embodiment, the first flexible light strip provides white light and the second flexible light strip provides blackout light.

A representative embodiment of a lighting system includes a carrying bag having a first opening with a control panel cover; a mounting bracket arranged in the carrying bag; a power supply coupled to or arranged on the mounting bracket; a control panel arranged within the first opening and coupled to the mounting bracket; a first flexible light strip; a second flexible light strip; and a power cable coupleable within the carrying bag to the control panel, the first flexible light strip, and the second flexible light strip. The first and second flexible light strips are coupleable to the power cable to receive DC power from the control panel, and may be extended throughout a structure, such as a tent, using a plurality of hangers. In a representative embodiment, the first flexible light strip provides white light and the second flexible light strip provides blackout light.

According to the present disclosure, a support structure for lighting devices, e.g. LED lighting devices, is provided with an electrically insulating core layer having a first and a second mutually opposed surfaces, with mounting locations for electrically-powered light radiation sources on the first surface, a network of electrically conductive lines printed on said first surface, at least some of said electrically conductive lines extending between the mounting locations and fixed locations on the first surface, and electrical distribution lines of electrically conductive material on the second surface of the core layer, and electrically conductive vias extending through core layer and electrically coupling the electrical distribution lines on the second surface with the electrically conductive lines at said fixed locations on the first surface.
