Light fixture
A light fixture includes a light receiver, an electrically-powered light source coupled to the light receiver, and a vessel containing a liquid. The vessel is translucent such that the light from the light source radiates through the vessel. The vessel includes an outer wall and an inner wall that define an enclosed area that receives and contains the liquid. The inner wall defines an open area positioned radially inward from the enclosed area and the inner wall includes a top opening and a bottom opening such that the open area is a through-hole extending through the enclosed area. The vessel is configured such that light emitted from the light source passes through the liquid contained within the vessel.
Illumination systems providing direct and indirect illumination
Illumination devices are described for illuminating a target area, e.g., floors of a room, using solid-state light sources. In general, an illumination device includes a first light guide extending along a first plane, the first light guide to receive light from first light emitting elements (LEEs) and guide the light in a first direction in the first plane; a second light guide extending along the first plane, the second light guide to receive light from second LEEs and guide the light in a second direction in the first plane opposite to the first direction; a first redirecting optic to receive light from the first light guide and direct the light in first and second angular ranges; and a second redirecting optic to receive light from the second light guide and direct the light in third and fourth angular ranges, where the first, second, third and fourth angular ranges are different.
REMOVEABLE LIGHTING FIXTURE
A light fixture is disclosed. The light fixture includes: a mounting base, with a surface for interfacing with a wall; a fixture face plate; a decorative fixture element with a light socket; and a catch mechanism for securing the fixture face plate to the mounting base. The catch mechanism includes; at least one catch receiver, at least one catch aperture, and at least one catch insert. The mounting base is secured to a wall. The fixture face plate is secured to the mounting base when the at least one catch insert is inserted into the catch aperture and then rotated into the at least one catch receiver.
COUPLERS FOR LIGHT FIXTURES
Disclosed is a junction device for joining adjacent housing sections of a light fixture housing assembly, having a junction body structure formed from at least one junction body segment. A plurality of coupling units, each with at least one first boundary including at least one male portion or at least one female portion. The male and/or female portions are configured to enable each corresponding portion a first of the coupling units to receive the male portion of a second of the coupling units. Each of at least two of the coupling units including a first segment formed with the at least one junction body segment at respective first boundaries with the corresponding male or female portions extending therefrom. Each of the male and female portions is configured to be associated with a first locking structure to lock the female and male portions together to form the assembled light fixture housing.
EDGELIT MULTIFUNCTIONAL LIGHTING ASSEMBLY FOR USE IN A SUSPENDED CEILING SYSTEM
An edgelit multifunctional lighting assembly is configured as a cross tee within a suspended ceiling system and supports at least one ceiling panel and is configurable to produce symmetric and asymmetric targeted light distributions for narrow and wide angle illumination applications.
Illumination unit and display apparatus using the same
A display apparatus including an illumination unit having a first illumination unit including a first light source module, a second illumination unit including a second light source module, and a bracket located between the first and second illumination units to connect the illumination units to each other. The bracket includes a first body portion on which the first light source module is placed, a second body portion on which the second light source module is placed, and a connecting portion located between the first and second body portions to connect the body portions to each other. The connecting portion has a first distance from a first end of the first or second body portion and a second distance from a second end of the first or second body portion, and the second distance is greater than the first distance.
Surface-mounted light and/or camera, connecting pin and surface-mounted light fastening system
The present invention relates to a surface-mounted light and/or camera (1) for arrangement on a wall (5), in particular an inside wall of a machine, having a housing (10) with a front side area (12), a rear side area (14) and side walls (13), at least one illuminant (50) and/or at least one camera (60), with at least one recess (20) being provided in the rear side area (14), in which at least one fastening means (30) is arranged, wherein the fastening means (30) in the recess (20) forms a trap which is beveled towards the rear side area (14). The present invention also relates to a connecting pin (2) for fastening the surface-mounted light and/or camera (1) to a wall (5) and a surface-mounted light and/or surface-mounted camera fastening system (3).
AN APPARATUS FOR MIMICKING THE LIGHT AND SKY-CONDITIONS AT THE HORIZON
of the Invention. Disclosed herein an apparatus for mimicking the light and sky-conditions at the horizon comprises a light assembly (2) provided with at least two angularly disposed horizontal strips (9a and 9b) of light source, a composite lens (5) fixedly placed above the light assembly (2) and configured to selectively reflect and transmit the light incident on it, a reflecting dome (3) centrally and partially disposed over the composite lens (5) and light assembly module (2) and provided with an LED spotlight (12) under it, a mounting bracket (4) adapted to receive the light assembly and the composite lens; and a controller (11) configured to control and monitor one or more predetermined parameters of the light source (9), wherein the characteristic of the composite lens (5) is translated depending on the desired geographical location.
