Table with integrated chairs
A unitary dining unit combining table functions and seating, which dining unit solves the above stated problems, is disclosed. The novel dining unit may be oblong, with opposed convex surfaces, to enable occupants to easily view one another, and to assist in fitting the table or desk efficiently within a square or rectangular room of a building. The unitary dining unit integrates a work surface, e.g., a table or desk surface, with seating. The integrated seating has support arms connecting the seating to the table portion, and maintaining all portions of each seat above the floor, thereby leaving space for and facilitating floor cleaning in the area of the furniture. A perimetric wall serves as an aesthetic skirt concealing seat anchorage elements and other utilitarian components from external view.
LED LIGHTING FIXTURE
Embodiments of the present invention provide a light emitting diode (LED) lighting fixture and methods of manufacturing the same. In various embodiments, the LED lighting fixture comprises a lighting fixture body and one or more luminaires. The one or more LED modules are operatively and securely fixed to the lighting fixture body. Each LED module comprises at least one LED, and a heat sink. The at least one LED is mounted within the LED module such that light emitted by the at least on LED is emitted in an upward direction. The heat sink is positioned such that at least a portion of the light emitted by the at least one LED is not incident upon the heat sink. Additionally, the heat sink is permanently fixed to the lighting fixture body.
Combined lighting device with an integrated dimming control system
A lighting system that includes a lighting device and a dimming controller. The lighting device has a support structure that supports multiple lighting zones. Each lighting zone including one or more lighting sources. The dimming controller is in communication with multiple dimmers supported by the lighting device. Each of the lighting sources is coupled to a corresponding dimmer from the multiple dimmers. The dimming controller is configured to communicate a controlled setting for one or more of the lighting zones to the multiple dimmers.
HUB BASED LIGHTING SYSTEM
The subject invention provides a lighting system with a light source, a plurality of spokes to house the light source and a structural hub adapted to connect to the plurality of spokes. A method of using the lighting system includes connecting the plurality of spokes to the hub, emitting light from the light source housed within the plurality of spokes and connecting the hub to an electrical connection housing.
Stowable seating
An activities unit combining a table or other horizontal surface with seating units is shown and described. Seating units may include both permanent or fixed individual seating units and also, at least one additional seating unit movable between a stowed position to a deployed position. Both permanent or fixed seating units and also stowable seating units may each be supported on the activities unit by an arm above floor level. This enables ready cleaning of a floor surface on which the unitized table is placed without having to move seating units out of the way. Construction of the unitized table enables utilitarian components and features which may be deemed unsightly to be concealed, for example, by wood paneling both at a table top and also a depending wall. The table top may overhang the depending wall.
Lighting system including a truss structure or a platform of power bars
A lighting system that may include a platform, a plurality of hangers configured to hang the platform from a supporting structure, and at least one luminaire or light pendant electrically and structurally coupled to the platform for emitting light. The platform may include a plurality of first power bars spaced from one another and extending in a first direction, and a plurality of second power bars spaced from one another and extending in a second direction crossing the first direction. The first and second power bars may be electrically and structurally connected to one another.
Adaptor for ornamental light emitting device and candolier including the same
An adaptor to drive DC powered light emitting device from an AC power source includes a main body having a first coupler configured to be connected to an external AC socket, a printed circuit board (PCB) disposed in the main body, an auxiliary body having a second coupler configured to be connected to the DC powered light emitting device, and a flexible, adjustable length connector extending outwardly from the main body between the PCB and the second coupler.
Light fixture with communication or power connector
A light fixture includes a mount configured to mount onto a mounting surface and a stem having a first end attached to the mount and extending in a first direction away from the mount with respect to the mounting surface to a second end. The light fixture further includes at least one arm having a first end attached to the stem and extending in a second direction away from the stem with respect to the mounting surface to a second end, the second direction at an angle with respect to the first direction. The light fixture includes a socket disposed on the second end of the at least one arm for receiving a light emitter and a power receptacle and/or a communication receptacle disposed on the second end of the stem.
LIGHTING SYSTEM
A lighting system that may include a platform, a plurality of hangers configured to hang the platform from a supporting structure, and at least one luminaire or light pendant electrically and structurally coupled to the platform for emitting light.
The platform may include a plurality of first power bars spaced from one another and extending in a first direction, and a plurality of second power bars spaced from one another and extending in a second direction crossing the first direction. The first and second power bars may be electrically and structurally connected to one another.
