The first twist-lock connector includes a first high speed electrical connector. The first high speed electrical connector is movable relative to the first connector housing between a home position and a rotated position. The first twist-lock connector includes a biasing member coupled to the first high speed electrical connector to bias the first high speed electrical connector to the home position. The twist-lock connector system includes a second twist-lock connector having a second connector housing holding second twist-lock contacts and a second high speed electrical connector at a mating interface.
Luminaire Head with Improved Heatsink
Example embodiments relate to luminaire heads with improved heatsinks. One embodiment includes an assembly, such as a luminaire head. The assembly includes a housing and an electrical component, such as a light source, arranged in the housing. The housing has a first side and an optional second side opposite the first side. At least the first side is provided with a heatsink portion having an outer surface provided with multiple heatsink elements protruding outwardly out of the outer surface. A heatsink element thereof has a base and a top. The heatsink element gradually widens from the top to the base.
Rotating light emitting diode high mast luminaire
A power source housing for use with a high mast lighting apparatus has a front face and an opposing back face, and a first end face and a second end face disposed opposite the first end face, the first end face defines an aperture sized and shaped to receive an extension member of a high mast lighting system. At least two opposing side faces extending from the front face to the back face, and power source housing cooling fins extend outward from each of the at least two opposing side faces.
Lighting fixture with high structural integrity
Tenon-mounted lighting fixtures with high structural integrity are provided. In one embodiment, the lighting fixture has a housing that has an integrally formed tenon cradle, which is configured to receive a tenon of a light pole. A light source is also mounted on a bottom side of the housing. The tenon cradle is between a first bolt boss and a second bolt boss, and is in communication with a rear opening of the housing. The first and second bolt bosses may be integrally formed in the housing. The tenon cradle includes multiple ribs. An arcuate cross rib resides in a first plane in which a first bolt shaft of the first bolt boss and a second bolt shaft of the second bolt boss reside. An axial rib intersects the arcuate cross rib and runs perpendicular to the first plane.
ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARD RISK MITIGATION SYSTEM, METHOD AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT IN URBAN AND SUBURBAN ENVIRONMENTS
A network of Intermediate Device Structure (IDS) members communicatively coupled, mounted to elevated structure/s within urban settings, each configured to operate by a processor/controller with resident code, and in real time receive sensed environmental inputs from each IDS' vicinity, remote data/instruction/s processing the inputs with resident code parameters generating outputs that are configured to mitigate/avert intermittent environmental events harmful/hazardous to humans.
Optics for chip-on-board road and area lighting
A lamp includes an extended planar light source, and an optical element arranged with the light source, wherein the optical element comprises an outer surface having an indented cusp substantially over the light source. A lamp includes an extended planar light source, and an optical element arranged with the light source, wherein the optical element comprises an outer surface having a portion at a peripheral edge comprising a curvature configured to redirect light emitted from the light source by total internal reflection.
Aerially mounted wireless networking device antenna system
A small cell networking device includes a compartment in which at least one printed circuit board (PCB) is mounted. At least three networking modules are mounted on the at least one PCB. A first one of the networking modules is arranged as a gateway to a first wireless network. A second one of the networking modules is arranged as a gateway to a second wireless network. A third one of the networking modules monitors network traffic in the first wireless network or second wireless network. First and second antennas are mounted to a first surface of the compartment, between a second surface of the compartment and the PCB. A third antenna is mounted to the second surface of the compartment between the second surface of the compartment and the PCB. The first, second, and third antennas are respectively coupled to the first, second, and third networking modules.
TRACKING TYPE SOLAR AND WIND-SOLAR HYBRID STREET LAMP
The present invention relates to the field of street lamp lighting, and more particularly to a tracking type solar and wind-solar hybrid street lamp, the current PV panels of solar and wind-solar hybrid street lamp is fixed installations and cannot be tracked, and the cost of existing tracking technology is expensive due to its complex structure, it is costly and cannot be applied to low-cost solar street lamps at all, how to solve the problem that street lamps can not only be able to tracking, but also have practical value have become a technical problem that needs to be solved urgently in the solar and wind-solar hybrid street lamp industry, the present invention provides a tracking technology that does not require a photoelectric sensor, and is constructed into a variety of tracking-type solar and wind-solar hybrid street lamp with different structures, which satisfactorily solves the above-mentioned problems.
Road tunnel lighting system with continuous plurality of lighting devices
A lighting system having a plurality of lighting devices continuously arranged along the longitudinal direction of a tunnel, such that the distance between the lighting devices corresponds to the flicker frequency for the speed of traffic traveling through the tunnel. Each of the lighting devices includes a longitudinal base, means for securing the base to the tunnel, a translucent cover, at least one printed circuit board (PCB), and a plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs) arranged on the PCB to form at least one row. The distance between the LEDs is selected such that the angle of emission of the LEDs, provide in the longitudinal direction, a substantially uniform illumination distribution at the desired height of the lighting device. The means of securing the base to the tunnel enables adjustment of an angle of inclination of each lighting device, relative to the transverse direction of the tunnel to create a substantially uniform light output.
