Pole base cabinet

This disclosure relates to pole bases, specifically to light pole base cabinets that can house items. The pole base cabinets can be positioned between a light pole and a footing. The pole base cabinets provide a base to a light pole while adding additional functionality. The cabinets can include a main opening allowing access to a cavity in which items can be stored. Access to the cavity can be restricted with a door that uncovers and covers the main opening. The pole base cabinets can include support panels, internal stiffening panels, external stiffening panels, support tabs, flanges, tabs, a peripheral wall, and other features to provide structural support and enclose the contents in the pole base cabinet.

Non-contact optical power feeding method using a multi-junction solar cell, and light-projecting device for optical power feeding
11677276 · 2023-06-13 · ·

There are provided a method and a device for feeding electric power to a vehicle, etc. installed with a solar photovoltaic power generation panel employing a multi-junction solar cell in a non-contact manner by irradiating light to the solar photovoltaic power generation panel. In the method, light containing a wavelength component absorbed by each of all solar cell layers laminated in a multi-junction solar cell of the vehicle, etc. is projected from a light-projecting device to the light receiving surface of the multi-junction solar cell; and electric power generated by the irradiation of light from the multi-junction solar cell is taken out. The device includes structures for emitting light containing a wavelength component absorbed by each solar cell layer laminated in the multi-junction solar cell, and for irradiating the light to a light receiving surface of the multi-junction solar cell.

An intermediate device structure/system is provided. The system includes a base member and a coupler, the coupler arm being coupled to the base member and extending therefrom. The system further includes a housing configured to functionally engage the base member, the housing defining therein a cavity therein for housing electrical components of the system, including a control unit and other auxiliary devices. The base member may be coupled to a mast arm of an illumination pole and the coupler arm may be coupled to a luminaire of the illumination pole, such that the intermediate device system is configured in line between the mast arm and the luminaire. The control unit is electrically coupled to the electrical power of an illumination pole and powers the data and power connectivity between devices belonging to the intermediate device system.

A CONTROL SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING A COOLING FAN
20230180370 · 2023-06-08 ·

Some embodiments are directed to a control system (140, 141, 142) for controlling a cooling fan used together with a motion detector. The controlling comprises controlling an activation and/or a rotation frequency of the cooling fan. The control system has a communication interface arranged for communication with the motion detector. The motion detector is configured to detect motion by emitting and receiving electromagnetic radiation and establishing frequency differences between the emitted and received electromagnetic radiation. The system operates the cooling fan at a regular rotation frequency and then, in response to obtaining a signal indicating that the motion detector is being used, adjusts the activation and/or the rotation frequency of the cooling fan, wherein said adjustment reduces an interference of the cooling fan with the frequency differences established by the motion detector.

LED LIGHT SOURCE APPARATUS
20170328554 · 2017-11-16 ·

An LED light source apparatus includes a lamp housing, a lighting module, and a lens. The lamp housing has a first shell body, a second shell body, and a waterproof pad disposed between the first and second shell bodies. The first shell body and the second shell body are covered to each other. The second shell body has an opening. The waterproof pad is provided with a throughhole corresponding to the opening. A light guide flap is disposed on the perimeter of the opening of the second shell body. The lighting module is disposed inside the lamp housing corresponding to the opening. The lens is installed on a side of the lamp housing corresponding to the lighting module. Therefore, the components or the lighting module with a different power can be conveniently replaced by modules and thus the present invention has the flexibility in replacement and maintenance.
