AIRCRAFT BEACON LIGHT AND AIRCRAFT COMPRISING THE SAME
An aircraft beacon light is provided for emitting flashes of red light into an environment around an aircraft. The aircraft beacon light includes a support plate having a central portion; a plurality of LEDs, arranged on the support plate around the central portion and facing away from the support plate; an annular light splitting element, having a proximate side arranged over and facing the plurality of LEDs, wherein the proximate side has reflective portions and transmissive portions; and at least one light conditioning element for redirecting light having passed through the transmissive portions of the proximate side of the annular light splitting element.
Dynamic color rendering methods and systems providing just-noticeable color accentuation and quasi-animation effects
Lighting methods and systems to enhance the browsing behaviors of shoppers in a manner intended to be primarily subconscious include illumination of a targeted area, such as a typical retail display, with a tunable spectrum lamp that slowly cycles through different illumination spectra such that color rendering of illuminated target is deliberately varied for subtle arousal of the visual senses. The illumination spectra, and the rates at which spectral conditions are changed, are both chosen as such that multi-colored objects in the targeted area change in appearance in a barely noticeable way, such that shoppers may find their visual attention redirected, seemingly at random, to a wider variety of products on display. Color spectrum changes also may be controlled in coordination with predefined packaging colors to create quasi-animation effects.
LIGHT SYSTEM
A light system comprises a moldable housing and at least one light source disposed entirely within the moldable housing. The at least one light source is electrically connected to a power source, wherein the housing is attached to a substrate, and wherein the moldable housing is selectively malleable upon contact with sufficient heat.
Intelligent decoration system
An intelligent electronic decoration system includes smart modular power cable (MPC) having a flexible body extending between opposed proximal and distal ends and having a plurality of spaced apart electronic ports along and perpendicular to the body, the MPC configured for powering and communicating data relative to respective ports. The system includes embedded electronics operatively coupled to the proximal end of the MPC and having a rechargeable component for energizing electronics devices electrically coupled to respective ports, a microcontroller unit, and a memory collectively positioned within the housing, the embedded electronics being configured for data interfacing with wired or wireless communication components of external electronic devices. Electronic devices that may be coupled to the ports of the MPC and embedded electronics include smart LED electronics modules, LED replaceable covers, Display or Monitor Touch Screen plug-in for smart LED Electronics Module, Smart Multi-Port Auxiliary Base Unit, and automated robotic puppet module.
Self-Orienting Stroboscopic Animation System
A rotatable stroboscopic animation device with a rotatable base portion and at least one light source. An angular-velocity-dependent flashing system flashes the at least one light source according to a predetermined flash mode dependent on the angular velocity of the base portion to produce coherent, automatic stroboscopic animation of images retained by the base portion. The flashing system can comprise an angular velocity determination system in cooperation with an illumination system. Angular velocity can be determined by an orienting system, such as a compass, in combination with a sampling system, a gyroscope, or a rotational sensor. A flash mode selection mechanism, which can be manual or automatic, permits a selection of a flash mode from among a plurality of flash modes. A manual flash mode selection mechanism can be formed by relatively pivotable upper and lower disks of the base portion. Animation disks can have indications of predetermined flash modes.
Illumination devices for sites and chairs
An illumination device includes an elongated flexible body having a first end connected to a second end via a flexible connecting body and an illumination portion coupled to the first end and a coupling portion coupled to the second end, wherein the illumination portion includes one or more illuminating sources and a first magnetic component housed within the illumination portion, the coupling portion includes a second magnetic component housed within the coupling portion, and the flexible connecting body is capable of folding such that the illumination portion and the coupling portion axially align and the first magnetic component magnetically couples to the second magnetic component.
Roof-mounted emergency beacon
A roof-mounted emergency beacon used to alert emergency responders and observers of the location of an emergency. The beacon is activated by a smoke alarm, burglar alarm, or medical emergency alarm. Upon activation, the beacon light flashes, and the beacon extends to increase visibility. The beacon illuminates different colors to indicate different types of emergencies. Upon deactivation, the beacon lowers to return to the stowed position.
