LED HEADLAMP WITH REFRACTIVE INTERFACE CREATING CUT-OFF FOR VEHICLES
The present invention relates to a lighting module for an automobile headlamp that is able to emit a cut-off light beam along a predetermined optical axis. The lighting module includes a light source for generating a beam and an optical element for receiving the beam generated by the light source and configured to form from this beam the cut-off light beam. The optical element has a collimator configured to receive the beam generated by the light source and to collimate this beam into a collimated beam. An optical coupler is configured to couple the collimated beam into a coupled beam in a lightguide. A cut-off means is disposed within the lightguide on the path of the rays of the coupled beam and configured to intercept a portion of the rays in the lightguide and to form a cut-off beam. At least one output face of the lightguide is configured to project the cut-off beam outside of the optical element, and the optical element is formed as a single part.
Low-beam headlight element for a vehicle
A low-beam headlight element includes a lens (301) for modifying the distribution pattern of light penetrating the lens, and a reflector element (302) including a first end having a place for a light source (303) and a second end having an opening constituting a passage for the light penetrating the lens. The thickness of the lens is shaped to decrease more strongly towards a first edge (303) of the lens than towards an opposite second edge of lens so as to provide more refractivity on a first area of the lens abutting on the first edge than on a second area of the lens abutting on the second edge. The refractivity on the first area produces a cutoff line in a resulting light distribution pattern. Hence, for achieving a cutoff line meandering in a desired way, there is no need for a screen element which converts light into heat.
VEHICLE LAMP
A vehicle lamp includes a first light source configured to emit first light, a first reflective member configured to reflect the first light downward with respect to a vehicle advancing direction, a second reflective member configured to reflect some of the first light reflected by the first reflective member upward with respect to the vehicle advancing direction, a second light source disposed below the second reflective member and configured to emit second light in the vehicle advancing direction, and a projection lens configured to project the first light and the second light in the vehicle advancing direction, wherein the projection lens has a refracting surface configured to refract at least some of the second light downward than an optical axis of the second light.
LAMP MODULE FOR VEHICLE, AND LAMP FOR VEHICLE INCLUDING LAMP MODULE
According to one aspect of the present disclosure, disclosed is a lamp module for a vehicle, the lamp module including: a first light source and a second light source for forming two or more types of light distribution patterns; and a light guide unit provided on one side of the first light source and the second light source. The first light source is provided behind the light guide unit and faces a rear surface portion of the light guide unit, and the second light source is provided below the light guide unit and faces a lower surface portion of the light guide unit. The light emitted from the first light source is emitted to the outside to form a first light distribution pattern, and the light emitted from the second light source is emitted to the outside to form a second light distribution pattern.
Multi-beam vehicle light
A vehicle light includes a lighting unit with multiple light-emitting elements (LEEs), one or more couplers, a light guide and an extractor. The lighting unit has a curved elongate extension. Each of the couplers has an input aperture coupled with one or more of the LEEs and an exit aperture coupled with a first edge of the light guide and is configured to couple light from the LEEs into the light guide. The light guide is configured to propagate light via total internal reflection to a second edge of the light guide. The extractor has an input aperture coupled with the second edge of the light guide and an exit aperture configured to emit light into an ambient environment.

Single-piece optical part made of transparent or translucent material comprising an inactive surface with a scattering segment
A single-piece optical part made of transparent or translucent material, comprising a plurality of active surfaces arranged to form a beam, including an entrance dioptric interface and an exit dioptric interface, inactive surfaces joining the active surfaces, at least one of the inactive surfaces comprising a scattering segment so as to scatter the rays that reach it.
Light source unit
A light source unit includes a card type light source including a card substrate on which a light source is mounted, and a power supply connector configured to supply power to the light source. A card edge connector is formed on a part of the card substrate. The power supply connector is configured to be fitted to the card type light source via the card edge connector. The card type light source is provided with an alignment groove for confirming an alignment state with respect to the power supply connector.
