A light source module is provided that includes a primary wiring substrate and a light source array having a plurality of light sources mounted on a surface of the primary wiring substrate in a matrix. The light source module includes a heat radiation pad, provided at a peripheral region of the primary wiring substrate, and one or a plurality of heat transfer paths having a higher heat conductivity than a base substrate that is a parent material of the primary wiring substrate and connecting the plurality of light sources constituting the light source array and the heat radiation pad. At least one of the plurality of light sources, which are arranged at a row-directional central portion of the light source array, is connected with the heat radiation pad by the heat transfer path including a first linear portion.

A lamp for a vehicle includes: a light generation unit having an array module with a plurality of micro Light Emitting Diode (micro-LED) elements; at least one processor; and a computer-readable medium having stored thereon instructions that, when executed, cause the at least one processor to perform: controlling the light generation unit to form a first light distribution pattern that, when projected on a vertical plane at a first distance from the light generation unit, includes a plurality of zones having different luminous intensities. Controlling the light generation unit to form the first light distribution pattern includes: controlling at least one first micro-LED element to generate a first luminous intensity at a first zone of the first light distribution pattern; and controlling at least one second micro-LED element to generate a second luminous intensity at a second zone of the first light distribution pattern.

A lamp for a vehicle includes: a light generation unit having an array module with a plurality of micro Light Emitting Diode (micro-LED) elements; at least one processor; and a computer-readable medium having stored thereon instructions that, when executed, cause the at least one processor to perform: controlling the light generation unit to form a first light distribution pattern that, when projected on a vertical plane at a first distance from the light generation unit, includes a plurality of zones having different luminous intensities. Controlling the light generation unit to form the first light distribution pattern includes: controlling at least one first micro-LED element to generate a first luminous intensity at a first zone of the first light distribution pattern; and controlling at least one second micro-LED element to generate a second luminous intensity at a second zone of the first light distribution pattern.

A lamp for a vehicle includes: a lamp module configured to project a light having a beam pattern onto a road surface; at least one processor; and a computer-readable medium coupled to the at least one processor having stored thereon instructions which, when executed by the at least one processor, causes the at least one processor to perform operations comprising: obtaining vehicle driving information associated with driving of the vehicle; determining, based on vehicle driving information, a light adjustment region; and based on the determination of the light adjustment region, performing a gradual control of light projected to the light adjustment region, the gradual control of light configured to progressively change a brightness of light in the light adjustment region.

A lighting device for a vehicle headlight, the lighting device having a first light module (105), a second light module (106) and a third light module (107), wherein, when the modules are installed in a vehicle, the first light module generates a first overall light distribution (A), the second light module generates a first partial light distribution (F), and the third light module generates a second partial light distribution (Z), these distributions being in a region in front of the vehicle. When the first and second light modules are illuminated at the same time, the first overall light distribution at least partially overlaps the first partial light distribution, forming a second overall light distribution (AF). The second partial light distribution lies underneath the hh line and at least partially overlaps the second overall light distribution (AF). When all three light modules are activated simultaneously, a third overall light distribution (AF) is formed.

The invention relates to a lighting unit for a motor vehicle headlight for generating at least two light distributions, wherein the lighting unit comprises: a first light source (1) for generating a first light distribution, a second light source (2) for generating a second light distribution, a reflector (3), an exit lens (4) and collimators (5, 6; 5, 6a, 6b, 6c) into which the light sources (1, 2) can feed light, wherein the reflector (3) deflects, in the direction of the exit lens (4), the light rays of the light beams (S1, S2) exiting the collimators (5, 6; 5, 6a, 6b, 6c), the reflector (3), exit lens (4) and collimators (5, 6; 5, 6a, 6b, 6c) are formed from a translucent body (100) in which light rays (S1, S2) propagate by means of total reflection, the reflector (3) has a first reflector surface region (30) which receives light exclusively from the at least one first light source (1), and the reflector (3) has a second reflector surface region (31) which receives light exclusively from the at least one second light source (2), and wherein the exit lens (4) has a first exit lens region (40) which receives light exclusively from the first reflector surface region (30), and the exit lens (4) has a second exit lens region (41) which receives light exclusively from the second reflector surface region (31), and wherein light irradiated via the first exit lens region (40) is imaged as a first light distribution and light irradiated via the second exit lens region (4) is imaged as a second light distribution.
