Headlamp road-writing systems
A headlamp assembly has a low beam assembly configured to generate a low-beam distribution including a plurality of flat luminous segments configured to produce a composite flat beam pattern when activated; a kink module having a first light source and a second light source; a near-field road-writing segment located about a central vertical position of the low-beam distribution; a far-field road-writing segment located above the near-field road-writing segment of the low-beam distribution; and circuitry configured to inactivate one or more of the flat luminous segments located within the near-field road-writing segment of the low-beam distribution and inactivate the first light source when the near-field road-writing segment and the far-field road-writing segment are activated. The headlamp assembly also has a high beam assembly configured to generate a high-beam distribution.
AIMING ADJUSTMENT METHOD FOR VEHICLE HEADLAMP, AIMING ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM FOR VEHICLE HEADLAMP AND VEHICLE HEADLAMP
There is provided an aiming adjustment method for a vehicle headlamp which performs aiming adjustment based on a reference point on a light-dark boundary of a light distribution pattern, the method includes setting, as the reference point, an intersection between a vertical light-dark boundary of a part of multi-divided light distribution patterns which are to be synthesized to form a high-beam light distribution pattern and a horizontal light-dark boundary of a low-beam light distribution pattern.

VEHICLE LAMP
A vehicle lamp includes a projection lens, a first light source disposed behind the projection lens and configured to emit light forming a low-beam light distribution pattern which is a predetermined light distribution pattern, a reflector configured to reflect light emitted from the first light source toward a first rear focal point of the projection lens, and a second array light source disposed behind the projection lens and having a plurality of semiconductor light emitting elements arranged in at least one row. The second array light source is configured to emit light forming an additional light distribution pattern, and the center position or maximum light intensity position of the additional light distribution pattern overlaps with the low-beam light distribution pattern on a virtual vertical screen in front of the lamp.
LIGHTING ARRANGEMENT WITH A SPATIALLY CONTROLLABLE REFLECTOR ELEMENT
A lighting arrangement and a method of forming an illumination beam are described. A plurality of LED lighting elements is operable to emit light. A plurality of collimator elements is arranged to collimate light emitted from the LED lighting elements. A first projection element is arranged to project light emitted from the collimator elements onto a spatially controllable reflector element. The spatially controllable element comprises a plurality of reflector elements adjustable between a first and a second position. In the first position, the light is reflected into the direction of a second projection element to form a projected illumination beam. In the second position, light is reflected into a different direction to not contribute to the projected illumination beam.
VEHICLE LAMP
A vehicle lamp includes a projection lens and a plurality of light emitting elements arranged in parallel in a required direction behind the projection lens, and is configured to irradiate light emitted from each of the light emitting elements toward a front side through the projection lens. A plurality of diffusing lens elements that diffuse the light emitted from each of the light emitting elements in the required direction are provided on a front surface and/or a rear surface of the projection lens in a stripe shape to extend in a direction orthogonal to the required direction when viewed from the front side of the lamp.
VEHICLE LAMP CONTROL DEVICE AND VEHICLE LAMP SYSTEM
A vehicle lamp control device includes an information acquisition unit that acquires snowfall information, and a controller that controls a vehicle lamp capable of changing a formation position of a light distribution pattern. The controller controls the vehicle lamp so as to lower the formation position from a predetermined reference position when snowfall is perceived, and when the snowfall amount is larger than a predetermined value, the controller substantially lowers the formation position as compared with the formation position when the snowfall amount is smaller than the predetermined value.

Vehicle headlight with LED source and laser source brighter than the LED source
A lighting system including at least two light sources each producing a corresponding illuminated area, and optical means arranged to form a rectangurlarly-shaped light strip from the light emitted by each light source. The at least two light sources include at least one laser and one light emitting diode, the laser being between 2 to 10 times as bright as the light emitting diode.
