PIXELATED LIGHTING DEVICE EMPLOYING DIRECT REFLECTION
A lighting device able to produce a pixelated overall beam. The device includes at least two light sources, respectively associated with at least two reflectors placed beside one another horizontally. According to the invention, each reflector includes at least two lateral sectors at two distinct horizontal positions, and, for each lateral sector, an extreme zone of the lateral sector located toward the exterior of the reflector is shaped to produce a clear cutoff in an individual beam issuing from the reflector.

Lamp for vehicle
Disclosed is a lamp for a vehicle. The lamp for a vehicle includes a first optical module that forms a first light distribution pattern, and including a first light source part and a first condensing lens part that condenses light emitted from the first light source part, a second optical module that forms a second light distribution pattern, and including a second light source part and a second condensing lens part that condenses light emitted from the second light source part, and a third optical module that forms a third light distribution pattern, and including a third light source part and a third condensing lens part that condenses light emitted from the third light source part, the first optical module, the second optical module, and the third optical module are arranged in a vertical direction.
Vehicle headlamps
Vehicle headlights are equipped with a right-side lamp, a left-side lamp, and a control unit. A right-side light distribution pattern and a left-side light distribution pattern include an overlapping area and a non-overlapping area. In a case where the steering angle is greater than the prescribed angle, the control unit controls power supplied to light-emitting parts of the right-side lamp and power supplied to light-emitting parts of the left-side lamp such that: a first area of a first light distribution pattern is located in the non-overlapping area; a second area of a second light distribution pattern is located in the overlapping area; and a first intensity of the light in the first area becomes greater than the sum of a second intensity of the light in the second area and a third intensity of the light in the area overlapping the second area within the first light distribution pattern.

HEADLIGHT DEVICE AND LEANING VEHICLE INCLUDING HEADLIGHT DEVICE
A headlight device including a headlight configured to emit light frontward of a leaning vehicle to form a lower light beam, an upper central light beam, an upper left light beam and an upper right light beam, and a control device that controls light emission from the headlight without any user operation. The control device forms both the upper left and the upper right light beams while the leaning vehicle is traveling straight, and reduces a brightness of the upper left and upper right light beams, responsive to a vehicle being illuminated by the upper left and upper right light beams respectively, and forms the upper left and upper right light beams respectively while the leaning vehicle is turning left and right, and maintains the brightness of the formed upper left or upper right light beam regardless of whether any vehicle is illuminated by the upper left or upper right light beam.
Vehicle headlight
A vehicle headlight (1) includes a first lamp unit (10), a second lamp unit (20), a region determination unit (55), and a control unit (CO). A first irradiation spot (S1f) overlaps with a second irradiation spot (S2). The control unit (CO) controls the first lamp unit (10) so that an amount of the light of a light emitting element (13f) corresponding to the first irradiation spot (S1f) overlapping with a predetermined region (80) is reduced, and controls the second lamp unit (20) so that an amount of the light of a light emitting element (23) corresponding to the second irradiation spot (S2) overlapping with the predetermined region (80) is reduced or becomes 0, and light is emitted from the light emitting element (23) corresponding to the second irradiation spot (S2) overlapping with the first irradiation spot (S1f) and not overlapping with the predetermined region (80).
LED headlamp system with brightness control
A headlamp illumination source that switches from a first configuration conforming to on-road illumination standards to a second configuration that does not conform to on-road illumination standards. The switching is preferably controlled by a wireless signal but in some embodiments the switching can be controlled by a hard-wired signal or by a switch proximate the illumination source itself.
