A headlight for a vehicle having good heat dissipation performance includes a plurality of lens units, each including a plurality of light emitting devices, and lenses arranged so as to face the respective plural light emitting devices. The plurality of light emitting devices include first light emitting devices arranged on an inner side of the vehicle and having a first light emitting area and second light emitting devices arranged on an outer side of the vehicle having a second light emitting area. A first light distribution emitted from first lens units having the first light emitting devices and a second light distribution emitted from second lens units having the second light emitting devices are included, and the second light emitting area is smaller than the first light emitting area as well as a range of the second light distribution is smaller than a range of the first light distribution.

A headlamp assembly for projecting light in a forward direction along an optical axis is provided. The headlamp assembly may include a housing, a low beam light emitting device, a high beam light emitting device, a low beam lens, a high beam lens, and a reflector. The low beam and high beam light emitting devices may be arranged in the housing and include first and second planar surfaces, respectively, from which light is emitted. The normal to the first and second planar surfaces may be oriented away from the optical axis at substantially forty-five degrees in relation to the optical axis. The normal to the second planar surface may be oriented away from the normal to the first planar surface at substantially ninety degrees.

It is an object to provide a motor vehicle headlight assembly that includes a headlight module having a first luminous intensity distribution, a first additional headlight module having a second luminous intensity distribution different from the first luminous intensity distribution, and a control circuit. The control circuit may be configured to apply power to the headlight module based on one or more of a switch input and a light/dark input, and apply power to the first additional headlight module when a speed of the motor vehicle exceeds a first predetermined threshold.

A headlamp assembly includes a low beam assembly configured to generate a low beam distribution. The low beam assembly includes a first low beam solid state light source module having a first laser solid state light source optically configured to emit a first luminous intensity distribution and a second laser solid state light source optically configured to emit a second luminous intensity distribution, and a second low beam solid state light source module having a solid state light source optically configured to emit a third luminous intensity distribution which at least partially overlaps at least one of the first and second luminous intensity distributions. The headlamp assembly also has a high beam assembly configured to generate a high beam distribution.

A lamp for a vehicle includes a light generation unit with an array module having a plurality of micro Light Emitting Diode (micro-LED) elements. The lamp also includes at least one processor and a computer-readable medium having stored thereon instructions that, when executed, cause the at least one processor to: control the light generation unit to form a light distribution pattern that, when projected on a vertical plane at a first distance, has a luminous intensity that is progressively smaller from a central point closer to a center towards a peripheral point further from the center. Controlling the light generation unit to form the light distribution pattern includes: controlling at least one first micro-LED element to generate a first luminous intensity at the central point, and controlling at least one second micro-LED element to generate a second luminous intensity at the peripheral point.
