VEHICLE LAMP
20200256534 · 2020-08-13 · ·

A vehicle lamp includes a lamp unit configured such that emitted light from a light source is emitted toward the front of the lamp via a projection lens. The lamp unit includes first and second light sources as the light source, which are turned on at respective required turning on modes. The first light source includes at least one light emitting element disposed in a vicinity of a rear focal point of the projection lens. The second light source includes at least one light emitting element disposed at a position obtained by being moved from the rear focal point in a front-rear direction above the rear focal point. Light emitting elements including the first and second light source respectively are mounted on the same substrate extending obliquely in the front-rear direction of the lamp relative to a vertical plane orthogonal to the front-rear direction of the lamp.

LIGHTING APPARATUS

A lighting apparatus includes: a housing; a lens that covers a front surface of the housing; main lighting bodies housed in the housing, the main lighting bodies including left and right two headlights emitting light; a light guide member formed into an -shape to extend continuously along peripheries of the two-headlight main lighting bodies; and an extension that partially covers the light guide member from a front. Light source groups that emit light to be guided to the light guide member are disposed on upper end portions at left and right of the -shape. The light guide member has a center bent portion bent at a position posterior to the extension.

ILLUMINATING DEVICE FOR A VEHICLE, SPECIFICALLY HIGH-RESOLUTION HEADLAMPS
20200248882 · 2020-08-06 ·

An illuminating device for a vehicle is provided. High resolution headlamps comprise an imaging component with an active surface on which matrix-like imaging elements are arranged for the targeted generation of pixels of a light distribution. The expansion of the active surface is bigger in a first orientation than in a second orientation vertical to the first orientation, and a projection lens from which the light emitted by the active surface during operation of the illuminating device into the area outside the vehicle. The active surface is aligned in such a way that in relation to the light distribution generated outside the vehicle pixels arranged alongside each other in a vertical orientation are generated by imaging elements that are arranged alongside each other on the active surface in the first orientation.

VEHICLE LAMP

The vehicle lamp of the present invention includes: a first light source that emits light for low-beam light distribution; a lens arranged in a front side of the first light source; a shade that is arranged between the first light source and the lens and forms a cut-off line of a low-beam light distribution pattern; a reflector that reflects light from the first light source towards the lens; and a second light source that is arranged between the first light source and the lens and emits light for high-beam additional light distribution. A rear focal point of the lens is located more to a front side than a second focal point which is a focal point on a front side of the reflector, and a lens optical axis of the lens is inclined forward and obliquely downward with respect to a lamp optical axis of the lamp.

Lighting device

An illumination apparatus has a light source unit that can form a light distribution pattern by applying light into a virtual region, and an illuminance controller that can change the illuminance of at least a part of the light distribution pattern. The illuminance controller reduces the illuminance of the light distribution pattern in a region positioned in a first center in the vertical direction and a second center in a lateral direction, depending on a signal transmitted from an oncoming vehicle detector that transmits a signal according to the presence of an oncoming vehicle.

Vehicular lamp

A vehicular lamp includes a first light source that emits light for forming a first distribution pattern, a second light source that emits light for forming a second distribution pattern that is added to the first distribution pattern, and a light guide member disposed in front of the first light source. The light guide member includes a first incidence surface on which the light emitted from the first light source is incident, a total reflection surface by which a part of the light incident from the first incidence surface is totally reflected, and a first emission surface from which the light totally reflected by the total reflection surface is emitted toward the lamp front. A part of the light emitted from the second light source passes through the total reflection surface and the light guide member and is emitted from the first emission surface toward the lamp front.

VEHICLE LAMP

A vehicle lamp includes a first lamp unit that includes a light source, a driving unit, and a reflective body that is driven by the driving unit to repeat a periodic motion and thus scans an exit beam from the light source; and a controlling unit that controls the first lamp unit. The controlling unit instructs that the driving unit be driven until a first duration T.sub.1 has passed even in a case where the controlling unit has received an illumination instruction instructing the first lamp unit to emit a beam and then received a stop instruction instructing the first lamp unit to stop emitting a beam.
