EXTERIOR REARVIEW DEVICE FOR AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLES AND KIT OF PARTS
An exterior rearview device for an automotive vehicle includes a cover body with a cover body opening where the cover covers a front part of at least one reflective means, display or camera accommodated in the cover body. The exterior rearview device also contains a light module having a base body, a lens attachable to the base body and a selected functional device selected from at least two different functional devices each of which is adapted to achieve a specific light function. The base body is attachable to the cover body such that, in an attached state, the lens is arranged in the cover body opening, and the selected functional device is attachable to the base body such that, in the attached state, light from the light module passes through the lens to fulfil the specific light function of the selected functional device.
BENDABLE LIGHTING DEVICE
Lighting devices, methods of manufacturing a lighting device, automotive lighting systems including the lighting device are described. A lighting device includes at least one light guide with an elongated recess. Multiple light-emitting elements are embedded into the recess of the light guide, arranged on a flexfoil that is bendable in three different connections, and connected to one another to mimic a filament. At least one encapsulating material encapsulates, at least in part, the at least one light guide. The at least one encapsulating material includes at least one opening and at least one reference element for aligning the at least one light guide in relation o the encapsulating material so that the multiple light-emitting elements emit light exiting the opening. The at least one encapsulating aterial is flexible so that the lighting device is bendable in three different directions.
INDIRECT VISION DEVICE
The present invention refers to an indirect vision device for vehicles integrating a lighting unit, like light indicators or light decorative elements, preferably for vehicles. The lighting device (1) comprises: a light source (2), a light guide (5) for guiding light emitted by the light source (2). The light guide (5) comprises a light guide material and scattering particles (10) admixed therein, and the refractive index of the scattering particles (10) is different than the refractive index of the light guide matrix material, such that light guided by the light guide (5), can be scattered by the scattering particles (10) out of the light guide (5). The invention provides an indirect vision device with enhanced homogeneous luminance and increased luminance.
INDIRECT VISION DEVICE
The present invention refers to an indirect vision device for vehicles integrating a lighting unit, like light indicators or light decorative elements, preferably for vehicles. The lighting device (1) comprises: a light source (2), a light guide (5) for guiding light emitted by the light source (2). The light guide (5) comprises a light guide material and scattering particles (10) admixed therein, and the refractive index of the scattering particles (10) is different than the refractive index of the light guide matrix material, such that light guided by the light guide (5), can be scattered by the scattering particles (10) out of the light guide (5). The invention provides an indirect vision device with enhanced homogeneous luminance and increased luminance.
VEHICLE LAMP
This vehicle lamp is provided with a light guide body (21) which guides and emits light incident from a light source (20). The light guide body (21) has an incident surface (211) where light from the light source (20) is incident, an emission surface (213) which emits the guided light, and a reflective surface (212) which internally reflects light incident from the incident surface (211) towards the emission surface (213). The reflective surface (212) is configured from multiple adjacently arranged reflective surfaces (212), and on the boundary surface (217) of multiple reflective surfaces (212), there are reflective steps (218) that internally reflect light in a scattered or diffused state.
LED LIGHTING DEVICE
An LED lighting device includes a transparent cover member arranged at an exterior member or an interior member and covering an LED element and a light emitting surface of the LED element mounted on a substrate, and a light transmission member receiving emission light from the light emitting surface of the LED element at a light inlet end and operating as a light transmission path. The light transmission member is integrated with the LED element mounted on the substrate together with the cover member using a transparent resin by insertion molding.

A light module for a lighting device of a vehicle is disclosed having at least one illuminant and a light-guiding body which is suitable and destined for guiding radiation emanating from the illuminant and coupled into the light-guiding body to a light exit surface of the light-guiding body, and having at least one rear wall apparatus which is arranged at least in certain areas in the beam path of ambient radiation incident from externally through the light exit surface of the light-guiding body into the light-guiding body. The rear wall apparatus has at least one first rear wall region and at least one second rear wall region, wherein the at least one first rear wall region and the at least one second rear wall region differ from one another in terms of reflection and/or absorption properties, for example with regard to the ambient radiation.

The present invention relates to a phosphor including a crystal phase having a composition represented by a specific formula, and when, in a powder X-ray diffraction spectrum of the phosphor, the intensity of a peak that appears in a region where 2θ=38-39° is designated as Ix and the intensity of a peak that appears in a region where 2θ=37-38° is designated as Iy, the relative intensity Ix/Iy of Ix to Iy is 0.140 or less, and a light-emitting device comprising the phosphor.

A vehicle lighting device provides two or more lighting functions using the same exit surface of a light guide panel. A first lighting function is a vehicle lighting function such as a rear tail light function or rear combination lamp function (e.g., brake signal, turn signal, and backup light) provided by a first light source comprising a light emitting diode (LED) light source inputted at an edge surface of the light guide panel. At least one more lighting function is implemented by a second light source outputting light toward a rear surface of the light guide panel and controlled to operate in accordance with one or more second light functions including one or more of: at least part of another vehicle lighting function, and a display including one or more display elements presenting at least one of: a designated pattern, a symbol, a pictogram, and an animation.
