A reflective layer is disposed on the photoluminescent structure and has one or more reflective beads configured to reflect a first portion of incident light directed towards the reflective assembly portion and allow a second portion of the incident light to pass therethrough. The second portion of the incident light includes the excitation light therein.

The device also comprises distribution means configured both to distribute the light beam over a first dispersive zone of the transmission surface and to distribute the light beam over a second dispersive zone of the transmission surface, the first dispersive zone being able to transmit the light beam with a first aperture angle and the second dispersive zone being able to transmit the light beam with a second aperture angle.

The reflective fluorescent body may be disposed on a rear side of the lens and faces a rear surface of the lens. The first reflecting unit may be disposed so as not to be linearly aligned with the light source and the reflective fluorescent body.

A light strip for a vehicle panel is provided herein. The light strip includes a light-producing assembly. A photoluminescent structure is disposed on the light-producing assembly and is configured to luminesce in response to excitation by a light source of the light-producing assembly. An adhesive layer having one or more retroreflective beads embedded therein is disposed on the photoluminescent structure. An overmold material is disposed over a portion of the retroreflective beads.
