LASER-ETCHED LIGHT GUIDE ASSEMBLY
A laser-etched light guide assembly includes a light guide, a light source, and a laser-etched feature. The light source is configured to emit light into the light guide. The laser-etched feature is etched upon the light guide, and is adapted to reflect the light for illuminated display of the laser-etched feature.
LIGHT GUIDE ASSEMBLY FOR DAYTIME RUNNING LAMPS
A light guide assembly for a vehicle headlamp is provided. The light guide assembly generally includes a light guide, a retainer defining an elongated channel for the light guide, and a carrier within the retainer and partially surrounding the light guide. The carrier is a standalone component in some embodiments, while in other embodiments the carrier is a layer or a coating on the retainer. The carrier is substantially black and is visible on either side of the light guide to mask a break in the carrier, the break providing an opening for the light guide to enter the headlamp housing. The light guide assembly thereby achieves a consistently-dark border on either side of the light guide along its entire length, even in the location of the housing opening.

Lighting system, in particular for a motor vehicle lighting member, comprising integrated LEDs
A lighting system for a motor vehicle includes a printed circuit board equipped with light-emitting diodes for producing light and an optical module to propagate and transmit the light. The optical module includes a reception surface to receive the light produced and an emission surface for retransmitting the light produced. The optical module includes a housing for receiving the printed circuit board equipped with light-emitting diodes and the housing includes an internal wall forming the reception surface.
Light and thin tail lamp
The present invention discloses a light and thin tail lamp comprising a light guide structure and a lampshade, wherein the light guide structure is arranged in the lampshade, one surface of the light guide structure is an emergent surface, and the other surface of the light guide structure is a reflective surface; two incident surfaces are arranged on opposite positions at two sides of the light guide structure, at least one of the incident surfaces is provided with light sources, and rays emitted from the light sources enter the light guide structure through the incident surfaces; and the light sources are connected with a control circuit. The light and thin tail lamp disclosed by the present invention is reasonable in design, small in thickness, size and occupied space, and convenient to mount; and the light and thin tail lamp is high in brightness, uniform in light emergence and non-dazzling.

LIGHT GUIDE DEVICE
A light guide device includes a light guide plate that induces a light emission of a light source. The light guide plate includes an incident portion that is incident light emitted from a light source, a reflecting portion that reflects the light from the incident portion to an inside of the light guide plate, and an emitting portion that emits the light from the reflecting portion to an outside of the light guide plate. The emitting portion is provided in a thin elongated shape on a first portion of a circumferential surface of the light guide plate. The reflecting portion includes an expansion surface that expands the light from the incident portion to a circumferential direction of the light guide plate.
BACKLIT 3D LAMP
A backlit three-dimensional lamp for a vehicle includes an indicia rendering disposed on a transparent lenticular sheet, an outer lens positioned in front of the transparent lenticular sheet, and a light source positioned behind the transparent lenticular sheet. The light source provides backlighting of the indicia rendering such that the lenticular sheet projects a forward image that hovers beyond the outer lens. A vehicle light assembly includes a light source adapted to produce a substantially homogeneous light, a rendering of indicia located adjacent the light source and facing away from the light source such that the rendering of indicia is backlit by the light source, and an array of light-modifying elements aligned with the light source to at least partially cover the rendering of indicia for creating a projection of the rendering of indicia outside the vehicle light assembly.
