Automotive lamp optical system with light diffusive projection lens
The present invention relates to an automotive optical system; the optical system includes one or more first optical elements that reflect light rays emitted from a number of first light sources that are configured to perform a first lighting function and a second optical element; the second optical element is configured to project a light beam from the first optical elements configured to perform the first lighting function where a portion of the second optical element is made of a diffusive material. Furthermore, the optical system includes a number of secondary light sources where the second optical element is configured to receive light ray emissions from the secondary light sources and perform a second lighting function by scattering light rays received from secondary light sources.
LIGHTING ASSEMBLY WITH INTEGRATED OPTICAL DIFFUSER
An integrated lighting element assembly includes a transparent light-transmitting portion and an opaque or translucent optical diffuser. The light-transmitting portion has a light-transmitting surface. The optical diffuser is integrated or co-molded with the light-transmitting element to form a boundary of the light-transmitting surface. A light source is configured to direct incident light into the light-transmitting portion in response to a lighting control signal. A controller may generate the lighting control signal in response to activation of a user input device such as a turn signal lever or transmission mode selection lever. The optical diffuser may be parallel to and contiguous with the longitudinal surfaces of the light-transmitting element. A headlight assembly includes first and second headlights having respective low- and high-beam functions, and the lighting element assembly, which is positioned with respect to one of the headlights.
LIGHTING MODULE, LIGHTING DEVICE AND TAILLIGHT
A lighting device disclosed in an embodiment of the invention includes a substrate; a reflective member disposed on the substrate; a plurality of light emitting devices disposed on the substrate; a resin layer disposed on the reflective member; and an optical pattern portion having a plurality of concave portions concavely formed on an upper surface of the resin layer, wherein the plurality of light emitting devices is spaced apart in a first direction in which light is emitted, wherein the optical pattern portion includes a pattern portion in which a width of the concave portions is reduced from a position overlapping a center of each of the plurality of light emitting devices in the first direction, wherein the optical pattern portion includes a pattern portion in which a width of the concave portions is reduced from the center of the optical pattern portion toward both sides of a second direction.
VEHICLE LIGHT GUIDE AND VEHICLE LAMP
To radiate light with uniform color and illuminance in a longitudinal direction, this vehicle light guide is rod-shaped and is disposed at a front portion of a vehicle. The vehicle light guide includes a base portion having a curved portion curved rearward from a front toward a side of the vehicle and guiding light from a light source so as to be emitted from an emission face at a front side of the vehicle, a plurality of prism portions arrayed in a longitudinal direction along a back face of the base portion and that reflect light forward, and a diffusing portion positioned in at least the curved portion in the longitudinal direction of the base portion and provided in a strip form on a bottom face side of the prism portions, and that diffuses light.
VEHICLE LAMP
A present invention is a vehicle lamp provided with: an elongated light guide member provided in a lamp chamber, an incident end part being positioned below said member; and a light source provided in the lamp chamber so as to face the incident end part. The light guide member has: a light guide main part having an elongated shape in which one end is the incident end part, a prism part being provided along the longitudinal direction, the prism part causing a portion of the light incident from the incident end part to be emitted in the irradiation direction; and a flange part projecting from the light guide main part in the direction intersecting the irradiation direction. The flange part is provided with a reflecting surface that forms a depression angle with a projecting end face when viewed from the incident end part side within a prescribed range viewed in the longitudinal direction.
