FIBER OPTIC PANEL APPLIQUE
A lighting apparatus includes a plurality of fiber optic panels coupled to respective light sources. The fiber optic panels include a set of optical fibers configured to emit light transversely to the optical axis thereof to form respective illumination regions in the fiber optic panels. A housing is included in the lighting apparatus to have an internal chamber and at least one window formed therein by which the internal chamber is in optical communication with the exterior of the housing. Additionally, an optical system such as a reflector or lens can subtend the light from the distal ends of the fibers within the chamber. The fiber optic panels are coupled to the housing to convey light into the internal chamber while the illumination regions extend from the housing to perform a lighting function of an automotive vehicle.
Lighting device for a motor vehicle, and method for producing same
A method for the production of a lighting device for a motor vehicle, including a transparent tube which surrounds an optical fiber connectable to a light source is positioned on a holder in such a way that the tube comes in contact with the holder in at least one area, wherein the contact area between the tube and the holder is subjected to laser radiation so that the tube is welded to the holder by means of a welding process.
Lamp for vehicle and vehicle including the same
Disclosed are a lamp for a vehicle and a vehicle including the same. A lamp for a vehicle includes a lamp housing, a light source unit mounted on the lamp housing and that irradiates light, a bezel installed in the lamp housing, an optical fiber fixed to the bezel, coupled to the light source part, and that outputs the light irradiated from the light source part, and a tension unit provided in the bezel, and that applies a tension to the optical fiber in a state, in which the optical fiber is fixed to the bezel.

VEHICLE LAMP
A vehicle lamp, which can make objects in a lamp chamber invisible, includes: a lamp housing and a lamp lens forming a lamp chamber, an excitation-light irradiation unit, a light conversion unit, and an optical filter disposed in the lamp chamber. The optical filter is disposed between the excitation-light irradiation unit and the light conversion unit and blocks light in a specific wavelength range. As a result, such a phenomenon that an image from an outside is seen in the lamp chamber through the lamp lens or an object in the lamp chamber is seen through the lamp lens can be suppressed, and the object in the lamp chamber can be made invisible.

The invention provides an outdoor luminaire (100) comprising: a plurality of lighting devices (10), each lighting device (10) configured to provide lighting device light (11) and each lighting device (10) comprising at least a light source (13); a plurality of beam shaping optics (20), each beam shaping optics (20) configured to receive lighting device light (11) of one of the lighting devices (10) and configured to beam shape the lighting device light (11) into a beam (12) of lighting device light (11); wherein the outdoor luminaire (100) is configured to provide a beam (112) of luminaire light (101) comprising the beams (12) of lighting device light (11); and wherein the beam shaping optics (20) are configured in an arrangement (120) which is random, phyllotactic or a combination thereof.
Vehicle light guide body and vehicle lighting unit
A vehicle light guide body includes an incident surface that light from the light source enters, a first reflective surface that internally reflects the light that has entered from the incident surface to form nearly parallel light, a second reflective surface that internally reflects the light from the first reflective surface, a third reflective surface provided in a position located in front of the second reflective surface in a front-rear direction and in a portion in at least one of end faces in a left-right direction, a light shielding part that shields a part of the light reflected by the second reflective surface, and a light emitting surface that emits the light that has been internally reflected by the second reflective surface and has passed through the light shielding part to illuminate a headlight pattern in front of a vehicle.
Vehicular illumination device
Provided is a vehicular illumination device including a light emitting portion mounted on a headlight, and capable of outputting light from the light emitting portion forwardly of a vehicle with enhanced design and enhanced visibility. An illumination device is provided on a front portion of a vehicle, and includes a headlight, a light guide, and an outer glass. The outer glass is configured such that a perimeter portion and a front surface portion are integrally formed. The perimeter portion includes an incident portion on a middle portion in a length direction of the light guide, the incident portion allowing incidence of light output from the light guide. The light guide is disposed in proximate to the incident portion. Light incident from the light guide to the perimeter portion is guided forwardly, while repeating reflection on inner and outer circumferential surfaces of the perimeter portion, and output forwardly from an output portion formed on the front side.
