LED lighting elements comprising molded parts made of translucent polycarbonate compositions having a deep gloss effect
The present invention relates to LED lighting elements comprising translucent mouldings composed of polycarbonate-based moulding compounds, comprising a colourant mixture, carbon black, scattering additive and optionally white pigment, as used, for example, as covers with a day/night design. Through combination with one or more RGB-LEDs, it is possible to achieve surprising colour effects in night design with presence of a deep gloss effect in mouldings that are black and grey in day design.
Night light projector
A night light projector comprises a housing and a light emitter accommodated in the housing. The projector further comprises a rotator rotatable around the light emitter and a plastic film dome placed on the rotator and rotatable with the rotator. The plastic film dome covers the light emitter and allows partly transmitting and projecting the light from the light emitter. By means of the rotatable plastic film dome, the projector is able to project rotating spatial pattern into surrounding space.

To provide an electric light bulb type light source apparatus capable of reducing backlash, which results in noise, and improving the sound quality of a speaker. The electric light bulb type light source apparatus may include a speaker, a light source unit, a supporting unit, a casing, and a base. The supporting unit may support the speaker. The supporting unit may include a base portion. The base portion may include a tapered surface and a supporting surface that supports the light source unit. The casing may include an abutting surface that abuts against the tapered surface of the base portion. The base maybe used for supplying a power to the light source unit and the speaker.

LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE
To provide a semiconductor light emitting device which is capable of accomplishing a broad color reproducibility for an entire image without losing brightness of the entire image. A light source provided on a backlight for a color image display device has a semiconductor light emitting device comprising a solid light emitting device to emit light in a blue or deep blue region or in an ultraviolet region and phosphors, in combination. The phosphors comprise a green emitting phosphor and a red emitting phosphor. The green emitting phosphor and the red emitting phosphor are ones, of which the rate of change of the emission peak intensity at 100° C. to the emission intensity at 25° C., when the wavelength of the excitation light is 400 nm or 455 nm, is at most 40%.

This disclosure discloses an illumination apparatus. The illumination apparatus comprises a cover comprising a second portion and a first portion, and a light source disposed within the cover. An average thickness of the first portion is greater than that of the second portion.
LED lamp
A light emitting diode lamp is composed of a reflective mirror, a pillar and a plurality of light emitters disposed in radial arrangement about a focal point of the reflective mirror on the surface of the pillar. Each of the plurality of light emitters is composed of a light emitting diode and a lens forming a virtual image in a position of the focal point located behind the light emitting diode. Additionally, a plurality of light emitting diode elements composing the light emitting diode in each of the plurality of light emitters emit light rays with the same wavelength, and the light emitting diodes in the plurality of light emitters emit the light rays with at least two types of wavelength.
LED strip and method for manufacturing a LED strip
A LED strip having LED chips and a strip to which the LED chips are fixed and which also functions as a support structure of conductors coupled with the LED chips, and a tube manufactured from an elastic and at least partly light-transmitting material and surrounding the strip with the LED chips. At the outer surface of the tube there is a fixing element which is in essential parts of the same material as the tube. The LED strip includes a thermal conduction part which is of a material different from the tube and which, in the cross-section of the LED strip, is directed outwards from the inner surface of the tube for conducting waste heat generated in the LED chips out from the tube.
Lighting System Having Improved Unidirectional Intensity
A strip of a flexible plastic has a transparent cover surface which permits passage of light and an opposed bottom surface and sides which are opaque to passage of light. A series of spaced apart light emitting diodes are positioned on the top surface in electrical contact with a pair of spaced apart, generally parallel electrical wires running along the length of the top surface and individual electric bulbs are positioned on top of each light emitting diode. When electric current flows through the electrical wires, light is transmitted from each light emitting diode through each bulb and out in a unidirectional manner.
