A detachable support is provided. The detachable support includes a first arm having a first connection portion, a second arm having a second connection portion, and a frame. The frame has a first end portion and a second end portion, which are respectively hinged to the first arm and the second arm. The first connection portion and the second connection portion are operable to be inserted and fixed into two grooves respectively, and the two grooves are defined in a housing to be mounted. The first arm has a hole, the housing to be mounted is provided with a spring loaded bolt, and the spring loaded bolt is operable to be inserted into the hole to lock the first arm. No tool is required throughout installation and removal processes of the detachable support according to the present disclosure, thereby improving the efficiency of the installation and removal processes.

A ceiling grid system formed of struts has a plurality of elongate insert light units. The grid system suspended from the ceiling and comprising a multiplicity of steel elongate channels (struts) arranged in the grid. The channels having a downwardly directed U-shape and defining an opening and an open channel interior, the channel having opposing J-shaped wall portions, each wall portion with an inwardly directed curved lip portion defining a gap width therebetween the two wall portions. The elongate insert light units seated within one of the steel elongate channels, each insert light unit having an elongate body with a light emitting side, each insert light unit comprising a housing, and a strip of light emitting diodes, and a transmission portion at the light emitting side, the body retained in the interior of the channel, each light unit removable and replaceable with the respective channel.

Baffle and associated methods for quiet-ceiling light fixtures

A baffle for use in a light fixture that includes one or more light emitter positions includes one or more upper edges, each of the upper edges encircling a light emitting aperture and lying within an upper region. The baffle also includes one or more lower edges that correspond in number with the one or more upper edges, each lower edge lying within a lower region, and encircling an output aperture. Plan view shapes of the upper and lower edges form closed shapes that are devoid of angles. The baffle further includes an interior baffle surface that extends downwardly from each of the upper edges to corresponding ones of the lower edges. The interior baffle surface is continuously and downwardly concave from each of the upper edges to each of the lower edges, and is devoid of angles.

Lighting device

In various embodiments, a lighting device is provided. The lighting device includes an optical unit having at least one optical element, which optical unit is fastened to the lighting device by means of at least one fastening region; wherein the optical unit is fastened with a force fit in at least one direction; wherein the at least one fastening region is formed as a spring element; and wherein the optical unit can be moved through the at least one fastening region in the direction of the force-fit fastening.

Adjacent lens arrangement holes are linked together to form a linked hole. The linked hole has a shape that represents part of a shape formed by disposing a plurality of second circles, the second circles being partially overlapped, each of the second circles having a diameter larger than a diameter of the first circle.

Embodiments are described that provide a flashlight including a head, a lamp and at least one head electrical lead, a first body that is removably connected to the head, the first body including a battery compartment and a first body electrical contact to connect with the head electrical lead, and wherein the head and the first body are removably connected to each other with quick-disconnect coupling means. The flashlight may also include inductive charging coils disposed in the first body to permit the battery to be inductively recharged without being removed from the first body. The flashlight may include a rotatable annular ring for adjusting the flashlight between spot, flood and spot/flood modes utilizing Hall Effect sensors to facilitate the shifting between the modes. A light sensor assembly includes a receptacle connector configured to be mounted to a light fixture and configured to receive a sensor connector having a photocontrol component including a housing, a spring element and a housing retainer. The housing has a base extending through a fixture housing. The housing has locating features configured to engage a locating feature of the fixture to hold a rotational position of the housing. The housing retainer is positionable on the interior of the fixture housing on the base engaging the spring element. The housing is rotatably positionable on the fixture by lifting upward on the housing to compress the spring element to disengage the locating features of the housing from the locating feature of the fixture and rotating the housing to a new position.
