NUTRACEUTICAL COMPOSITION AND DOSING REGIMEN
The present invention is a nutraceutical formulation, intended for oral administration, comprising co-administered if not co-formulated melatonin together with at least one of strontium, Vitamin D, and Vitamin K or their analogues. The nutraceutical combination or formulation is designed to be taken by mouth within about two hours prior to bedtime, and in fact should not be taken at any other time. The combination therapy gives new and unexpectedly improved results compared to the administration of melatonin alone.

The invention relates to the use of one or more nucleotides for improving the heat stability of an aqueous micellar casein composition comprising 6 to 20 g per 100 ml of micellar casein, and having a pH of about 6 to 8. The invention also relates to heat-treated liquid nutritional compositions comprising 6 to 20 g, preferably 9-20 g, of protein per 100 ml of the composition and having a pH of about 6 to 8, in which all or a major part of said protein comprises micellar casein, further comprising one or more nucleotides.

FEED SUPPLEMENT AND ITS USE
The present invention relates to feed supplements comprising vitamins and canthaxanthin and the use of such supplements for improving performance and health in poultry, in particular in poultry pullets. It has been found surprisingly that feed additive compositions as hereinafter defined improves immune status, bone and skeletal development, flock uniformity, growth and feed conversion of pullets.
The feed additive composition according to the present invention comprises canthaxanthin, at least one vitamin selected from the group consisting of vitamin C and vitamin E, a trace mineral, in particular selenium, and optionally a mixture of at least two compounds selected from the group consisting of thymol, eugenol, vanillin and -terpinene.

The methods include using chitosan selective precipitation whey pre-treatment, and microfiltration using polymeric membranes. The products obtained using these methods include WPC80 with low fat content, high clarity, low browning potential during storage, and having low levels of volatiles. Compositions and foaming agents obtained using the methods of the present invention are also provided.
