Lighting system for attachment to tubular structure
A light fixture attached to an elongate tubular structure includes a baseplate having a pair of tabs extending from its opposing edges. A printed circuit board (PCB) attached to the baseplate has an aperture aligned with an aperture in the baseplate. An array of light emitting diodes (LEDs) are disposed on the PCB. A mounting bracket attached to the baseplate includes a strap and a pair of clips disposed at its opposite ends. Each clip engages one of the tabs to secure the mounting bracket to the baseplate. A pair of clamp arms extend from the strap and engage an arcuate central portion having a curvature that matches the curvature of the elongate tubular structure. An aperture passes through the strap that is aligned with the baseplate aperture. A power cable passes through the strap aperture, the baseplate aperture, and the PCB aperture. The power cable includes power wires that are electrically connected to the PCB for providing power to the LEDs. A protective cover protects the baseplate and the PCB, and provides for transmission of light from the LEDs.
Medical illumination device with LEDs oriented by tabs pre-cut in a printed circuit board
A medical lighting device for illuminating an operative field, which device includes light-emitting diode (LED) light sources that cooperate with collimator optical systems to light the operative field. LEDs are mounted on a flat printed circuit board so that their illumination axes (B) passing through the collimator optical systems (7) have different angular orientations. The printed circuit board (6) may be cut out to form tongues, each of which is flexible and has a free end carrying an LED. Each tongue can be deformed under stress in such a manner that its free end is oriented substantially perpendicularly to the illumination axis (B).
High-bay light-emitting diode (LED) light fixture
A high-bay light-emitting diode (LED) light fixture including, a driver chamber assembly and an LED assembly. The driver chamber assembly further includes a driver chamber body that houses a driver module and/or a controller module, and a receiver portion. The LED assembly further includes an LED housing, an LED module that supports an arrangement of LEDs, and a lens.
Surface mounted and chip on board, high brightness LED replaceable lighting system
Disclosed is a LED light assembly that accommodates series connected surface mounted LEDs. An LED lighting source comprising surface mounted LEDs can be inserted and removed from a socket to allow replacement of burned out LEDs. The LED lighting source contains all of the components for controlling the intensity and color of the emitted light. In addition, the electrical components may receive control signals to control the output of the surface mounted LEDs. Connectors disposed in a socket are made of spring steel that causes the connectors to contact each other when the LED lighting source becomes loose from the socket or is removed.
Waterproof, dual-polarity decorative light string
Disclosed is a waterproof LED light string that provides outdoor lighting in a simple and reliable manner. Waterproof bulb assemblies are used with replaceable LED light sources. The bulb assemblies are easily suspended from a rope or wire, screwed to a support, or magnetically supported from a ferrous metal support. Duplicate circuitry in the LED light source allows the LED light source to be connected in either direction.
LUMINAIRE STRUCTURE
Disclosed is a luminaire structure, comprising at least one light guide segment having opposed surface regions and defining a dimension therebetween. At least one edge region with at least one LED array configured to form an edge-lit optical coupling with the edge region. The light guide segment further includes a first sensor passage extending between the opposed surface regions to receive a sensor. At least one of the light guide segment, the first sensor passage and/or the sensor is configured so that light delivered to the light guide segment through the edge-lit optical coupling illuminates the light guide segment with reduced optical disruption by the presence of the sensor in the first sensor passage, when compared with a non edge-lit optical coupling configuration.
LED LUMINAIRE AND ENGINE SYSTEMS
An LED luminaire includes an LED engine system that drives a plurality of interchangeable LED modules. The LED engine system may be arranged in a luminaire housing. The LED engine system includes a power plate assembly and a plurality of LED modules that are removable and interchangeable with respect to the power plate assembly. The LED engine system is customizable or modifiable to vary the light output therefrom, in that various types of LED modules may be utilizable therewith and one or more of the LED modules may be mounted to the power plate assembly at two or more orientations.
Connection element
A connection element for a circuit board that includes electronic components or LED illuminants on a top side and that includes contact fields on a bottom side which are used at least for supplying electrical voltage to the electronic components that are arranged on the circuit board, the connection element including a receiving element that includes a contact surface for the circuit board and pressure contacts configured to contact the contact fields of the circuit board and connection contacts configured to connect connection conductors that provide electrical voltage; and a cover element that supports the circuit board on the receiving element, wherein the cover element is arranged at the receiving element and pivotable about a pivot axis, wherein the cover element is movable between an open position and a closed position, wherein the cover element facilitates a placement of the circuit board onto the contact surface of the receiving element in the open position of the cover element, and wherein the cover element supports the circuit board between the cover element and the receiving element in the closed position of the cover element.
LED lighting element and method of manufacturing the same
Methods and apparatus are presented for retaining a dome lens in a lighting element that provides a projection of light forming a substantially uniform bright light on a surface a known distance from the lighting element. The lighting element includes a dome lens that is removably positioned proximal to a light source, such that the light source is retained at a location within a focal length of a projection lens and at or within a focal length of the dome lens. The dome lens magnifies the light outputted by the light source, such that the projected light is brighter than the light generated by the light source.
LED lamp
A LED lamp comprises a base, an envelope, a printed circuit board for mounting a plurality of LED chips and a supporting member for supporting the printed circuit board. The envelope has a bottom end coupled with the base. The envelope defines an interior between the base and the envelope, and the printed circuit board is disposed in the interior. The printed circuit board comprises a hollow structure. One end of the supporting member is assembled in the base, the other end of the supporting member is coupled with the printed circuit board. One end of the printed circuit board extends into the base.
