END CAP AND LIGHTING DEVICE HAVING SAME
An end cap for a solid-state lighting device is described that provides an electrical connection(s) between an external power source and at least one solid-state emitter disposed in a hollow member of the lighting device. An outer wall extends a first distance and an inner wall extends a second distance from an inward-facing side of the end cap base. A gap between the inner wall and the outer wall accommodates the insertion of the hollow member. A contactor electrically coupled to a conductive member on an opposite side of the end cap extends into the gap. The contactor exerts a force on a flexible conductor and provides a power supply path to or power return path from the at least one solid-state emitter. Preferably, the lighting device includes an array of solid-state emitters disposed on a flexible substrate.
Luminaire with a connection device
A luminaire (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d) comprising a housing with a first end surface (21), a second end surface (22), an at least partially circumferential surface (23) extending between the first end surface and the second end surface, a longitudinal direction (25) extending between the first end surface and the second end surface, and at least one connection device (3a, 3b; 3a, 3b; 3a, 3b) for connecting the luminaire to a complementary connection device (3b, 3a; 3b, 3a; 3b, 3a) of another corresponding luminaire, the at least one connection device being arranged on either of the first end surface and the second end surface of the luminaire, the connection device comprising an electrical connection element (34) extending in an angle with respect to said longitudinal direction (25) of said luminaire, said angle being comprised in the interval (0; 90].
Holder, light tube, lighting device having a mistake-proof structure, installation method and modifying method thereof
A method for installing a lighting device having a mistake-proof structure includes the following steps: aligning the two end caps at the two ends of the tube body of a light tube with two holders; installing the two end caps on the two holders to make the extending space of each of the end caps be engaged with the extending portion of the rotational fixing element of the holder corresponding thereto; and making the two conductive pins of each of the end caps contact the two conductive plates in the holder body of the holder corresponding thereto.
LIGHTING FIXTURE ASSEMBLY
A lighting fixture assembly includes: a top plate supporting holders for a plurality of tube lights, wherein each holder is configured to provide an electrical connection to a respective tube light of the plurality of tube lights; and a housing defining a trough that is sized to contain the plurality of tube lights, the top plate configured for releasable attachment to the housing, and the top plate and the housing enclosing the trough when the top plate is attached to the housing. The housing includes: a base plate having a base length in a first direction, the base length corresponding to the tube light length; a pair of opposing sidewalls attached to the base plate and extending along the base length; and a pair of opposing end walls attached to the base plate and each connecting the pair of sidewalls.
Lamp with hybrid connector and lamp assembly having the same
A lamp with hybrid connector is provided, which includes a lamp tube and two lamp caps. The lamp caps are disposed at the two ends of the lamp tube respectively. Each of the lamp caps includes an end surface, two first connection structures and two second connection structure. The end surface has a central point. The first connection structures are disposed on the end surface and are arranged to be symmetrical, about the central point, to each other. The second connection structures are corresponding to the first connection structures. The second connection structures are disposed on the end surface and are arranged to be symmetrical, about the central point, to each other. Since each of the lamp caps has a symmetrical connection structure, any one of the two ends of the lamp tube can be connected to another lamp tube in series.
