LIGHT FIXTURE INSTALLATION ADAPTERS AND METHODS THEREOF
Light fixture installation adapters and methods thereof are disclosed. According to an aspect, a light fixture installation adapter includes a first bracket configured to be attached to a light fixture. The adapter also includes a second bracket configured to be attached to an electrical junction box. Further, the adapter includes a mounting assembly that has a first component and a second component attached to the first bracket and the second bracket, respectively. The first component is configured to engage with and to attach to the second component when the first component is oriented in a predetermined position with respect to the second component and when the first component is moved in one or more predetermined directions with respect to the second component for attaching the first bracket to the second bracket via the mounting assembly.
Lighting apparatus with rotation connector
A lighting apparatus includes a light source module, a light source housing, a rotation ring and a surface rim. The light source module includes a LED module. The light source housing has a light opening for disposing the light source module within the light source housing for a light of the light source module to pass through the light opening. The rotation ring has a pair of rotation connectors on opposite sides of the rotation ring for fixing the light source housing and for allowing the light source housing to rotate along a first axis of the pair of rotation connectors. The surface rim has a circular inner wall. The rotation ring is manually rotatable along a second axis of the circular inner wall for a second rotation movement.
Temporary lighting system
A temporary lighting system having a temporary lighting assembly that is configured to readily and selectively connect to a variety of connectors on a recessed lighting assembly. The temporary lighting system disclosed herein provides significant benefits over known temporary lighting systems by providing a much more economical and efficient solution.
INTEGRATED CEILING AND LIGHT SYSTEM
An integrated ceiling and light system that incorporates a light module into a ceiling tile. The system may include a grid support system suspended from an overhead support structure that includes at least one grid support element and first and second ceiling tiles supported by the grid support element in an adjacent manner A nesting cavity may be formed into the first and second ceiling tiles such that a light module may be disposed within the nesting cavity and coupled to the first and second ceiling tiles. The ceiling tiles may be of the type that conceals the grid support element on which it is supported. In one alternative embodiment, the light module and a nesting region of the ceiling tile may include corresponding edge profiles to facilitate mating therebetween to enable coupling of the light source to the ceiling tile.
INTEGRATED CEILING DEVICE WITH MECHANICAL ARRANGEMENT FOR A LIGHT SOURCE
An integrated ceiling device includes integrated ceiling device including an electronic device housing, a heat dissipating structure, a light source, and a reflection/refraction assembly. An air gap is defined between the electronics housing and other components allowing ambient air to flow therethrough for cooling.

Thin profile surface mount lighting apparatus
An LED downlighting apparatus includes a housing with a sidewall having a front facing edge and a back facing edge positioned adjacent to a ceiling when the LED downlighting apparatus is installed in an opening of the ceiling. A depth of the sidewall is less than one inch and a thickness of at least a portion of the sidewall is less than three millimeters. An LED board and a lens are coupled to the housing. The lens is disposed with respect to the LED board such that the lens is illuminated from a back side. One or more mechanical couplers snap fit the apparatus to a junction box installed and positioned above the ceiling such that when the apparatus is snap fit to the junction box through the opening of the ceiling, the housing appears to be surface mounted to the ceiling.
LIGHTING FIXTURE
A lighting fixture includes a housing, a first light source, a light guide plate, and a second light source. The housing has an inner cavity and a mounting hole, the mounting hole communicates the inner cavity with an external environment of the housing, the light guide plate is installed in the mounting hole. A side of the light guide plate faces the inner cavity, the other side of the light guide plate faces an outside of the housing. The second light source projects second light to the light guide plate, the second light is capable of being projected to the outside of the housing through the light guide plate. The first light source projects first light, and is configured such that the first light is projected to the outside of the housing through the light guide plate, and the housing is a non-light-transmitting housing.
Swing arm for recessed lighting fixtures
A recessed lighting fixture includes an elongated body including a flange and a pair of swing arms. The swing arms are deployable between a stowed configuration adjacent to the elongated body, to a deployed configuration wherein the swing arms extend radially from the elongated body. In the deployed configuration the swing arms are translatable along threaded members extending along the elongated body in order to clamp a ceiling or other surface between the swing arms and the flange to secure the recessed lighting fixture into a hole in the ceiling. The swing arms comprise removable portions that can be used to increase the range of thicknesses of surface in which the recessed lighting fixture can be installed.
Can light installation system
A light can or enclosure for a can light fixture that simplifies installation, by incorporating to the can the functions of drilling a hole, and mounting the can.
