Downlight apparatus
A downlight apparatus includes a light source, a driver box, a light housing and a heat dissipation plate. The driver box is used for storing a driver. The driver is connected to an external power source to generate a driving current to the light source. The light housing has a light holder and a rim. The light source is stored in the light holder. The rim defines a light opening for a light of the light source to escape. The heat dissipation plate is placed between the light holder and the driver box for carrying away both heat of the driver box and the light source. The heat dissipation plate is a separate metal piece from the driver box and the light housing. The heat dissipation plate has a portion not covered by the light holder and the driver box and exposed to air.
LIGHT FIXTURE
The present disclosure discloses a light fixture, which includes a light body and elastic mounting members. The light body includes a light housing and a limiting element, the limiting element is connected to the light housing, a limiting space is enclosed by the light housing and the limiting element, one end of the limiting space is provided with a mounting opening, the limiting element has a matching notch, the matching notch is formed by extending from the mounting opening to an inside of the limiting element, and the light housing recesses to be provided with a limiting slot that communicates with the limiting space; and each elastic mounting member includes a clamping portion and a mounting portion, the clamping portion includes a base body and an elastic clip, the elastic clip is elastically connected to the base body.
Downlight apparatus
A downlight apparatus includes a light source, a light holder, a driver box, a fixing bracket and two torsion springs. The light holder is used for placing the light source. The light holder has a first side defining a light opening. The driver box is placed on a second side of the light holder. The driver box contains a driver for converting an external power to a driving current supplied to the light source to emit a light from the light opening. The fixing bracket is coupled to the light holder for fixing to an installation cavity. The fixing bracket has a bottom plate and two connector plate. The bottom plate is fixed to the second side of the light holder. The two connector plates are disposed vertically to the bottom plate. Each connector plate has two side units. Each torsion spring has an elastic center and two arms.
LUMINAIRE AND OUTPUT ELEMENT COUPLING MECHANISM THEREFOR
Described are various embodiments of a luminaire and output element coupling mechanism therefor. In one embodiment, a recessable luminaire comprises two or more luminaire modules, each one of which comprising a recessable housing having opposed side walls. The luminaire further comprises an output element securable along and between these side walls to at least partially define an output of the luminaire, and opposed inwardly biased output coupling structures extending at least partially along respective side walls and adapted to receive and resiliently secure corresponding edges of the output element therein.
LED driver box
A LED driver boxes for luminaires or LED lighting systems installed in applications where the building is pre-existing, and luminaires are retro-fitted to the space with great advantages in convenience is described. Driver box applications where luminaires are installed in a new construction where the ceiling has yet to be installed/built is easy. Driver boxes may be used where the ceiling is already built and for ease of installation and maintenance, the contractor may want to choose an option where the luminaire has easily accessible electronic components. The LED Driver Boxes provide a safe, clean, and rigid method to maintain the electronics by separating line voltage from DC voltage and electronics.
Lighting accessory for the selective reduction of glare
A device and the method of installing and adjusting same, which provides reduction of glare from overhead lighting, including but not limited to “can” lighting, also referred to as recessed lighting.
Downlight with multiple angles
A downlight, comprising: a back cover; light source components, provided on an aluminum substrate; a surface ring, which is a transparent supporting component and supports the aluminum substrate so that the aluminum substrate can be fixed to the back cover, and is fastened to the back cover; a light diffusing cover, mounted on a bottom of the surface ring for transmitting light emitted from the light source components. In the downlight of the present disclosure, light is transmitted to a ring-shaped panel of the surface ring through a truncated cone structure of the surface ring, and is then transmitted out of the ring-shaped panel, to achieve light emission with a new angle, solving the problem that in conventional downlights, light can only be emitted from a single angle. The present disclosure improves the angle of light emission from the light source while also improving its light emission effect.
Rotatable retrofit trim lighting device
A retrofit trim lighting device is provided. In example embodiments, the retrofit trim lighting device comprises a bracket comprising an opening; at least one torsion spring secured to the bracket and configured to mount the retrofit trim lighting device within a recessed housing; a retrofit housing comprising at least one light engine; and an engagement element. The engagement element is secured to the retrofit housing through the opening of the bracket such that, when so secured, the retrofit housing and the bracket are rotatable relative to one another.
Recessed luminaire housing assembly
A recessed luminaire housing assembly for positionally sealing a fixed position junction box per code requirements is disclosed. The luminaire housing may include a fixed position junction box, a junction box interface hardware, and a vertically adjustable recessed light mounting housing. The recessed light mounting housing is adjustably and removably fastened to the junction box interface hardware and the fixed position junction box.
Downlight apparatus
A downlight apparatus includes a driver box, a light source, a light housing, multiple leaf springs, multiple shaft connectors and multiple pads. The light housing has a light holder and a rim. The light holder has a holder plate and a holder wall defining a holder cavity. The multiple leaf springs are placed between the driver box and the light holder. Each pad has a pad hole and a pad scraper surrounding the pad hole. The pad scraper has a protruding part engaging an electric insulation layer on a top side of the holder plate. The shaft connector sequentially passes through a spring hole of the leaf spring, the pad hole and the top plate of the light holder. The protruding part of the pad scraper scraps a portion of the electric insulation layer of the holder plate for connecting the holder plate to ground.
