Portable lighting device capable of adaptive power saving and brightness adjustment
According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a portable lighting device capable of adaptive brightness control includes: a light irradiation unit that irradiates light; a brightness sensing unit that measures the brightness of a region in front of a current position at a predetermined distance; and a control unit that controls the amount of light to be irradiated by the light irradiation unit depending on the brightness measured by the brightness sensing unit. Herein, the control unit controls the amount of light by changing the width of an ON pulse period in which the light irradiation unit is operated within a discrete signal controlling the light irradiation unit or by changing the intensity of light in response to a continuous signal controlling the light irradiation unit.
Dual-Light Flashlight with Pivoting Beam Housing
A battery operated illumination device having a pivoting head, with first and second independently controlled light sources. In a normal use orientation a spot light beam from a first light source is directed along a forward axis oriented at 90 degrees with a longitudinal axis of the device housing. A flood light beam from a second light source in the pivoting head is directed along an axis disposed between 30 and 60 degrees below the forward axis. In an alternate use orientation the pivoting head may be pivoted through up to 90 from the forward axis.
Flashlight clamp
A light clamp apparatus includes a clamp configured to affix the light clamp apparatus to an object. The light clamp apparatus also includes a light assembly configured to removably attach to the clamp at least at two different positions on the clamp, the light assembly including a magnet, whereby the light assembly is removably attachable to a surface comprising a ferromagnetic metal. The clamp includes a slide bar comprising a first end and a second end, a first jaw coupled to the first end, and a body slidably receiving the slide bar having a second jaw opposing the first jaw. The clamp further includes a drive assembly for moving the slide bar in a first direction.
Compact flashlight assembly comprising a primary light, a backup light, and a handle
A minimal dive light assembly includes two flashlights and a U-shaped handle. One of the flashlights is provided as a primary and the other is provided as a back-up torch. The lights are placed within the upper space of the handle close to each other being fastened to the top bar of the handle by means of fastening devices. In one embodiment, the fastening device may be provided as elastic cords. In another embodiment, the fastening device may be provided as clamps. Auxiliary devices such as a bolt snap, a wrist lanyard, and retractor can be added to the assembly in order to add extra features. Having the lights placed in the upper space of the handle provides a more protected torch light that is less likely to become entangled in ropes.
PORTABLE LIGHT HAVING A FORWARD FACING LIGHT AND A REARWARD FACING LIGHT
A portable light may comprise: a light housing including a first housing and a light head that is pivotable relative to the first housing; one or more light sources including an illumination light source in the light head; an electrical switch for selectively energizing the one or more light sources; and a detector of the pivoted position of the light head relative to the first housing for energizing and/or de-energizing one or more of the light sources. Other features of the light may include: a rear facing light source that may have one or more light sources, or an elongated clip, or a pivotable elongated clip, or one or more accessories mountable to a clip, or a combination thereof.
Method For Illumination of Outdoor Cooking Grill Surface
Disclosed is a method for providing immediate, direct illumination of the cooking surface of an outdoor cooking grill. The method employs the installation of a one-piece metallic light fixture holder attachable to cooking grills which have a hinged, curvilinear grill cover. The light fixture holder comprises a rigid, symmetrically-bent channel member, at least one horizontally-oriented curvilinear attachment arm, fastening tabs, and at least one pre-drilled hole in each fastening tab, said holes, corresponding to holes commonly used to attach a handle to a grill cover. The pre-drilled holes of the fastening tab of the light fixture holder allow the light fixture holder to be easily fastened and co-located in holes provided for the original manufacturer's grill cover handle. An appropriately-sized LED or battery-powered light fixture is then securely placed within the channel segment of the light fixture holder.
MATCH CASE WITH INTEGRATED UTILITY FEATURES
Integrated utility devices are disclosed having a myriad of synergistic features. A body having an internal storage cavity may be sealed by a cap comprising a self-contained flashlight assembly. Also, hook attached to the body may serve dual purposes of providing a bracing surface for a bottle opener and a hook portion for a gated carrying clip for the body having internal storage cavity.
LAMP CLAMP AND LAMP APPARATUS APPLYING THE SAME
A lamp clamp used to fix a light source on an object is disclosed. The lamp clamp includes a first clamping member and a second clamping member. The first clamping member includes a lamp fixing portion, a connecting portion and a stopping portion. The lamp fixing portion is used to fix the light source.
The connecting portion is connected to the lamp fixing portion. The stopping portion is movably connected to the connecting portion and has a stopping surface selectively disposed at one of plural positions on the connecting portion. The second clamping member is connected to the connecting portion to clamp the object between the stopping surface and the second clamping member.
WEARABLE HEADLIGHT HOLDER ASSEMBLY
A wearable headlight holder assembly includes a central rectangular webbing with two stretchable rings extending at distal ends, and a strip of Velcro sewed to the center of said webbing and used to detachably strap the webbing to a headband. The headlight holder assembly allows for the placement of a light source though the two stretchable rings and allows the user to illuminate a chosen area. The present design are more flexible to fit headlights with various sizes and cost-effective to manufacture. The flexible design also allows it to be attached to a headband, a clothing, belt, or forearm for uses including but not limited to exercising, repairs or camping.
