PORTABLE ILLUMINATION APPARATUS HAVING STERILIZING FUNCTION
A portable illumination apparatus having a sterilizing function, the illumination apparatus including: a lamp unit which includes an illuminating light element on an interior side of the lamp unit; a base coupled to the lamp unit by a hinge; and a sterilizing light element located on the interior side of the lamp unit. When the lamp unit is in a closed position with the base, the lamp unit and the base meet at a boundary section to form a cylinder with a top and a bottom. Also, the boundary section is substantially mirror-symmetrical and at least partially U-shaped such that the lamp unit has a longest height line and a shortest height line. Additionally, the illuminating light element is arranged on or along the longest height line and the hinge is formed about the shortest height line.

An example method for improving a dance technique or a dance performance by a performer, comprises receiving, using a radio frequency (RF) transceiver on a wireless device, a signal from an RF transmitter on a pointe shoe, determining, based on the signal, an activation status of each of a plurality of pressure sensors on the pointe shoe, and providing, based on the activation status, an indication of an accuracy or efficacy of the performer standing en pointe during the dance technique or dance performance.

SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS WITH TASK LIGHTING
The present disclosure provides a surface cleaning apparatus that includes task lighting. The task lighting can be provided on a hand-carried body or housing of the surface cleaning apparatus. Power to the task lighting can be controlled by a switch. The task lighting can be adjustable relative to the hand-carried body, and can be directed to illuminate a desired location.
Illuminated Shovel Assembly
An illuminated shovel assembly, configured to protect a user while shoveling during snowy and/or low light conditions, including: an elongated shaft, wherein the elongated shaft includes a length, a first proximal end, and a second distal end; a handle sub-assembly, wherein the handle sub-assembly is secured to or forms part of the first proximal end of the elongated shaft; a blade implement, wherein the blade implement is secured to or forms part of the second distal end of the elongated shaft; and a light sub-assembly, wherein the light sub-assembly comprises an energy source, a switch, and one or more light sources. Preferably, the light sources emit stroboscopic light substantially orthogonally to and away from the length of the elongated shaft to, in turn, alert third parties of the presence of the user and the shovel assembly. In addition, the illuminated shovel assembly preferably includes an accelerometer that provides auto-on and/or auto-off functionality to the light source.

The invention is a universal safety device for cyclists which can be used by anyone in any country with no modifications. The safety mirror and an indicator device (100) for wearing on a hand comprises: a first face (10A) housing a mirror (20) and a second opposed face (10B) that interfaces a wearer's hand in use. A strap (50) is provided for securing the device to a wearer's hand. A light (30) powered by a battery (70) is arranged on an end (40) of the device (100).
The light (30) and the strap (50) are arranged such that the light (30) projects past the hand of the wearer so that the light (30) is not obstructed by the wearer's hand when viewed from a position in front of the wearer during use. The device (100) has a switch (90) operatively connected to the light (30) to activate the light (30) when triggered.

LIGHTING MODULE
A lighting module emits light in a controlled manner by use of lighting elements. The lighting modules have two lighting elements each arranged in a rotatable manner, in particular about a common axis, and in a pivotal manner. A control unit is in communicative connection with the individual lighting elements, and a sensor measures a parameter, in particular a physical and/or chemical parameter, in the surroundings of the lighting module. The sensor is in communicative connection with the control unit. The sensor is configured to ascertain measurement values of the parameter, in particular in a repeating manner at specified points in time, and the control unit is configured to individually activate selected lighting elements, in particular switch on the selected lighting elements and/or adjust the rotational and/or pivotal position thereof, if a measurement value corresponding to a specified criterion is ascertained by the sensor.
