The LED light set may include LEDs, each of which having at least a first LED chip and a second LED chip configured to emit light at differing wavelengths. The first and second LED chips may be connected in series with opposite polarities. Responsive to receiving a power flow in a first direction from a power terminal, the first LED chip may emit light of a first color while the second LED chip may remain powered off. Responsive to receiving the power flow in a second direction opposite the first direction from the power source, the second LED chip may emit light of a second color different than the first color while the first LED chip may remain powered off.

In embodiments, the lighting device may comprise an outer globe, a diffuser, an outer cowling, a power input connector, a power control printed circuit board, a communication and control printed circuit board, an indicator printed circuit board, one or more microprocessors, a real-time clock, a supercapacitor, and an LED lighting printed circuit board. In embodiments, the real-time clock may be powered by the supercapacitor to track time without power from an input power source for the lighting device, enabling the lighting device to implement time-dependent settings, such as pre-programmed color temperatures and/or light intensities. The lighting device may communicate with one or more other networked devices, such as second lighting devices, mobile phones, servers, remote controls, and/or home or office automation equipment. The lighting device may be powered through a light socket.

This disclosure is directed to customizable charge status indicator systems for electrified vehicle charge port assemblies. Exemplary charge status indicator systems may include a charge port lighting module, and a human machine interface (HMI) that includes various user interfaces configured for receiving inputs for customizing different lighting effects that can be emitted by the charge port lighting module. The charge status indicator systems may further include a controller operably coupled to both the charge port lighting module and the HMI and configured for commanding the charge port lighting module to emit customized lighting effects in response to receiving input signals from the HMI.
Illumination apparatus for simulating blue sky
An illumination apparatus that is to be disposed in a recess formed in a part of a building includes: a light-emitting module that includes a board and a plurality of light-emitting elements disposed on the board; a light diffuser that has translucency and covers the light-emitting module; and a specular reflector that is disposed between the light-emitting module and the light diffuser. The light-emitting module emits light toward the light diffuser, and the specular reflector reflects light from the light diffuser.
Linear LED illumination device with improved color mixing
A linear multi-color LED illumination device that produces uniform color throughout the output light beam without the use of excessively large optics or optical losses is disclosed herein. Embodiments for improving color mixing in the linear illumination device include, but are not limited to, a shallow dome encapsulating a plurality of emission LEDs within an emitter module, a unique arrangement of a plurality of such emitter modules in a linear light form factor, and special reflectors designed to improve color mixing between the plurality of emitter modules. In addition to improved color mixing, the illumination device includes a light detector and optical feedback for maintaining precise and uniform color over time and/or with changes in temperature. The light detector is encapsulated within the shallow dome along with the emission LEDs and is positioned to capture the greatest amount of light reflected by the dome from the LED having the shortest emission wavelength.
LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE AND LIGHTING DEVICE
A light emitting device that can adjust a color temperature by using power supply from a single power source and a lighting device including the light emitting device are provided. A light emitting device includes a reflector formed of a housing having an opening at an upper portion, an anode electrode terminal and a cathode electrode terminal that are disposed on a side wall or a bottom surface of the housing, and a first light-emitting portion and a second light-emitting portion that are arranged in parallel inside the reflector so as to be electrically connected to the anode electrode terminal and the cathode electrode terminal and that are adjacent to each other. The first light-emitting portion includes a first resistance member. The color temperature of light emitted from an entire light-emitting portion including the first light-emitting portion and the second light-emitting portion can be adjusted.
SPECIAL FLOWER EFFECTS BEAM AND WASHLIGHT LUMINAIRE
An multimodal variable beam angle washlight and dynamic color flower effect luminaire is described employing multi colored LED array and a collimating partial homoginizing light guide which rotates paired with a rotating multifaceted prism which can selectively engage the light beam and be rotated while engaged. and further paired with a diffusion arm and zoom lens which converts the fixture into a variable angle wash light.
Illumination device with waveguide and LEDs
The invention relates to an illumination device (1) comprising an optical waveguide (2) and a number of (connections for) light sources (3)—especially LEDs—positioned along the waveguide (3). This waveguide has a central axis (4) at a distance r to the surface of the waveguide, said surface comprising a light entrance surface (6) on which the (connections for) light sources are positioned and a curved light exit surface (5), wherein, viewed along the circumference of the curved surface (5), the distance r to a first intersection (8) between the flat surface (6) and the curved surface (5), changes to a second distance of different value at the second intersection (9) between said surfaces. The invention also relates to a luminaire comprising such an illumination device (1). Due to the special design of the waveguide (2), the amount of reflections of light in the light sources is largely reduced and desired shaping of the exiting beam can be realized. The device can be further improved by the use of special features, like specially designed curved surfaces (5), reflective structures (13), channels (15) and torus-shaped waveguides.
