METHOD OF INSTALLING LINER ASSEMBLY FOR PIPELINE REPAIR OR REINFORCEMENT, AND LINER ASSEMBLY AND STEAM GENERATOR FOR SAME
A method of installing a liner assembly for pipeline repair or reinforcement includes: pulling a prepared liner assembly into position in the pipeline, the liner assembly including an outer tubular liner and an inner inflatable bladder positioned longitudinally within the tubular liner, the tubular liner being wetted with a curable compound; introducing fluid into the inflatable bladder so that the inflatable bladder expands to bring the tubular liner into firm contact with an interior surface of the pipeline; flowing the fluid continuously through the bladder and discharging the fluid into the pipeline, while maintaining the liner assembly in an inflated condition for a time period sufficient for the tubular liner to cure; and deflating the inflatable bladder and retrieving at least a portion of the liner assembly from the pipeline.
Steam generating apparatus and heating cooker
A steam generating apparatus includes: a steam generator including a housing capable of storing water therein, and a heating unit for heating the housing so as to generate steam; a water level measurement unit for measuring a water level in the housing; and a water supply unit for supplying water into the housing. A controller controls, when a time during which the measured water level does not exceed the threshold value continues for a first time, the water supply unit to start water supply into the housing, and controls, when the time during which the measured water level does not exceed the threshold value continues for a second time longer than the first time, the heating unit to stop heating of the housing.
STEAM GENERATOR
A steam generator for generating steam by boiling water, or other hot water heating device, in either case such as for use in a steam cooker or warewasher, includes a tank structure providing a heating chamber for holding water, and at least one heating element associated with the tank structure for heating water. The tank structure includes a main body wall having a U-shaped cross-sectional profile formed by opposed first and second side wall portions of the heating chamber and a curved bottom wall portion of the heating chamber, wherein the curved bottom wall portion is monolithic with the first and second side wall portions, wherein the main body wall is sheet metal material that has been curved.
BRAKING ENERGY DISSIPATION
An apparatus for dissipating braking energy generated by the operation of a vehicle brake. The apparatus includes a heating element configured to receive electric current generated by operation of the vehicle brake, the heating element arranged in a chamber for containing liquid. The apparatus is configured such that liquid contained in the chamber is heated in response to operation of the vehicle brake.
Extraction cleaner with steam
An extraction cleaner includes a steam delivery system, a liquid delivery system, and a recovery system, and includes multiple cleaning modes, including a first cleaning mode in which components of the steam delivery system, liquid delivery system, and recovery system are active, a second cleaning mode in which components of the delivery system and recovery system are active, and a third cleaning mode in which components of the steam delivery system are active. Methods for operating an extraction cleaner are also provided.
STEAM GENERATOR AND CLOTHES CARE APPARATUS INCLUDING SAME
A steam generator is disclosed. The steam generator includes: a recovery chamber which includes a first inlet, a second inlet, a steam outlet, and a drain outlet; a first pipe configured to receive water through a first end of the first pipe and which is connected at a second end of the first pipe to the first inlet; a second pipe which is connected at a first end of the second pipe to the drain outlet and is connected at a second end of the second pipe to the second inlet; and a heater device configured to heat water moving through at least one of the first pipe and the second pipe.
Method of operating a steam generator, steam generator and cooking device with a steam generator
A steam generator has a water container and an upper heating device and a lower heating device, a first temperature detection device covering a temperature detection area including the area covered by the two heating devices, a control device for monitoring and evaluating the first temperature detection device and for controlling the activation state of the two heating devices. A flat first temperature detection device covers the outside of the container, and a second spot-like temperature sensor is located on the water container in a region of an upper border of the upper heating device. Both temperature detection devices are used to activate and deactivate the two heating devices such that at first the lower heating device is activated to start generating steam as fast as possible.
Domestic appliance comprising an actuator
A domestic appliance, such as a steam iron or a coffee making apparatus comprises a housing, a water reservoir, an actuator, and a boiler for providing hot water or steam for use by the appliance. In operation, a plunger pump of the actuator is reciprocating at the mains frequency, which introduces vibrations. To reduce undesired sound and noise from the vibrations, the domestic appliance further comprises a sub frame and a base frame, wherein the actuator is mounted on the sub frame and a resilient member is arranged between the sub frame and the base frame for moveably mounting the sub frame at the base frame.
Autoclave
Provided is an autoclave. The autoclave includes a sterilization chamber, a steam generator including a heat conductor housed in the sterilization chamber and including a vaporization duct for the sterilization fluid, connectors configured to connect the vaporization duct and the sterilization chamber in a fluidic through connection, and a heater configured to heat the heat conductor by vaporizing the sterilization fluid in the vaporization duct.
Garment steamer
The present disclosure provides a garment steamer which includes a water tank configured to store water, an evaporator assembly communicated with the water tank and configured to generate steam, and a switching member. The evaporator assembly includes a first heating member and a second heating member, a resistance of the first heating member meets 110V power supply, a resistance of the second heating member meets 220V power supply. The switching member is configured to connect 110V power supply to the first heating member or connect 220V power supply to the second heating member automatically.
