Radiant tube support system for fired heaters
Apparatus and methods are described for novel radiant tube coil support designs that are insertable through holes in the casing walls of fired heaters from the outside of the heater.
VIBRATION DAMPING STRUCTURE FOR HEAT-TRANSFER TUBE BUNDLE
The preset application relates to a vibration damping structure for a heat-transfer tube bundle including columns arranged at an interval and each composed of a plurality of heat-transfer tubes curved in a common plane and arranged in parallel to each other. The vibration damping structure includes a first vibration damping member and a second vibration damping member disposed between the columns so as to intersect the array direction of the columns. The first vibration damping member and the second vibration damping member are disposed at different positions in an axial direction of each heat-transfer tube, and thicknesses of the first vibration damping member and the second vibration damping member in the array direction are larger than an average value of a clearance between the columns under operation.
SPACER TUBE SUPPORT ASSEMBLY
A tube support device is an assembly of a male member and a female member. The male member has a seat section and a prong section. The female member has a seat section and a receiver section having a channel therein. The prong section of the male member slides into the channel in the receiver section of the female member. The device can be made of cast alloy steel. The device can be used in a system for providing lateral and longitudinal alignment support and spacing for tubes, especially at an intersection of a horizontal tube and a vertical tube.
FURNACE WALL, GASIFICATION UNIT AND INTEGRATED GASIFICATION COMBINED CYCLE, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING FURNACE WALL
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a furnace wall in which a throat section with a smaller channel diameter than other regions can be formed using all peripheral wall tubes. Provided is a furnace wall comprising: a plurality of peripheral wall tubes (142), which are disposed so as to form a cylindrical shape when aligned in one direction and through the interior of which cooling water flows; and fins (140) that connect neighboring peripheral wall tubes (142) in an airtight manner. In a throat section in which the diameter of a horizontal cross-section of the cylindrical shape is reduced in comparison to other regions, the peripheral wall tubes (142) are disposed so as to be in mutual contact and the fins (140) are disposed on the inner circumferential sides of the cylindrical shapes.

Penetration seal apparatus and method
A tubular base plate assembly has a lower surface connected to a heating system component and an upper surface. A tubular seal plate assembly is positioned above the base plate assembly upper surface having a mating surface facing the base plate assembly upper surface with a plurality of grooves therein. Sealing material is provided within the grooves. A tubular hub assembly is positioned above the seal plate assembly. A plurality of fasteners connects the seal plate assembly to the hub. A plurality of external brackets connects the seal plate assembly to the base plate assembly to secure the seal plate assembly. The sealing material forms a first gasket between the seal plate assembly and the base plate assembly.
BOILER TUBE REINFORCEMENT DEVICE AND BOILER TUBE REINFORCEMENT METHOD
A boiler tube reinforcement device reinforces a boiler tube including a weld portion. The reinforcement device includes: a strip-shaped first steel plate that is wound and fixed by welding in a region including the weld portion of the boiler tube; a first reinforcement member in surface contact with an outer peripheral surface corresponding to one semi-circumference of the boiler tube in an outer peripheral surface of the first steel plate wound around the boiler tube; a second reinforcement member in surface contact with an outer peripheral surface corresponding to another semi-circumference of the boiler tube in the outer peripheral surface of the first steel plate wound around the boiler tube, wherein the second reinforcement member covers the outer peripheral surface of the first steel plate together with the first reinforcement member; and a coupling member that couples the first reinforcement member and the second reinforcement member together around the boiler tube.
Method for fabrication of corrosion-resistant tubing using minimal quantities of specialized material
The method for fabrication of corrosion-resistant tubing using minimal quantities of specialized material results in corrosion-resistant tubes with a reduced capital cost. In contrast, the disclosed method uses a straight weld made along the length of the tube, rather than a spiral weld that follows its circumference. The straight weld passes up and down the tube, but only on one side, or approximately 50%, of the tube. Following application of the corrosion-resistant material by straight welding, two or more tubes are joined together into an array.

Fluidized bed boiler with a support construction for a particle separator
A fluidized bed boiler with a support construction for a particle separator. The fluidized bed boiler includes a bottom-supported furnace in which at least one particle separator with a support construction is in gas flow connection with an upper portion of the furnace and includes a furnace side portion, an outer portion opposite to the furnace side portion, and a conical lower portion. At least two bottom-supported downcomer pipes are in fluid connection with a steam drum and adjacent to the outer portion of the particle separator. The support construction includes a frame-like supporting member surrounding at least a portion of the conical lower portion, and an outboard portion of the supporting member is attached to the at least two downcomer pipes to support the at last one particle separator.
