REMOTELY-CONTROLLED CANDLE
A remotely-controlled candle device, which comprises (a) an enclosure containing combustible material; (b) a wick disposed within the combustible material, by which the combustible material is drawn upwardly by capillary action; (c) an electric unit in which is housed control and communication equipment and a battery for powering the equipment; (d) an ignition device in heat exchanger relation with an upper end of the wick and controlled by the control equipment, for controllably igniting the upper end and producing a flame; (e) one or more conductive elements connected to both the electric unit and to the ignition device; and (f) an extinguishing device controlled by the control equipment for controllably extinguishing the flame. The electric unit is operable to receive remote commands from a user device for activating the ignition device and the extinguishing device upon demand. The extinguishing operation if performed gradually.

TORCH WITH ELEVATED PLATFORM
A device has a platform with an upward facing receptacle therein. A base supports the platform at a predetermined height and a fuel burning insert is removable retained in the upward facing receptacle by retention means affixed to the receptacle. The fuel burning insert provides for combustion of liquid fuel proximate the predetermined height of the platform. The fuel burning insert may be removed, exchanged, and refilled by a user without tools.
METHOD FOR APPLYING A CATALYST TO A SURFACE OF THE CATALYTIC COMBUSTION BURNER
The present invention is directed to a method for applying a catalyst to the surface of a catalytic combustion burner that allows better distribution of the catalyst on the surface of the end piece of the burner, and thus prevents too high a temperature at the central zone. The present invention is also directed to a catalytic combustion burner which can be coated with a catalyst in accordance with the method of the invention, and to a catalytic combustion bottle adapted to contain a combustible liquid and to receive at its neck a catalytic combustion burner of the invention.

SMART CANDLE PLATFORM AND SYSTEM
A Smart Candle Platform may be configured to produce candle light using a natural wax candle as its fuel source or any other fuel source capable of producing light, including liquid fuels if so configured. The outer shell, inner cover, top cover and base provides a beautiful exterior shell which does not melt but emulates the look of a traditional pillar candle. The outer shell may be changeable/replaceable allowing for style and or seasonal changes. A Smart Candle Platform having multiple interactive systems and sensors for production of natural light via a safe, controllable device which may communicate with other similar configured devices or smart devices having application software embedded therein i.e. a smart phone having an app. is disclosed. The Smart Candle Platform may be configured to allow for auto-extinguishment. The Smart Candle Platform may be configured to allow for the addition of smells or scents.
SUSTAINABLE CANDLES AND METHODS
Disclosed are apparatuses and corresponding and/or associated methodologies for sustainable (refillable) candles. This technology relates to refurbishing a used candle jar or container, so that its depleted wick and/or wax components are exchanged for replacement wick and wax components, so that the candle jar can be reused instead of being thrown out. An end of the wick is associated with an anchor or insert (such as a centering or positioning heat-resistant disc, removable silicone (or other materials) tray, or other). The replacement wick is physically held straight up and held in place by replacement scented wax beads, pellets, or the like poured into the jar. Burning of the wick melts and consumes the wax as it goes. After the wax and wick are exhausted, the insert and any remaining wax and other debris are removed from the jar in preparation for another refurbishment cycle. The insert is cleaned as needed for reuse with a new replacement wick.
Combustion device having double-layer structure
A combustion device having a double-layer structure includes a main body, which is double layered, including an inner-layer wall and an outer-layer wall disposed outside of and spaced from the inner-layer wall such that the inner-layer wall and the outer-layer wall include a hollow disposed therebetween. The inner-layer wall forms a fuel receptacle with an opening. A wick has an end defining fuel-drawing end inserted into the fuel receptacle through the opening.

WICK-BURNING AND VENTILATION AND FLOW-GUIDE STRUCTURE
A wick-burning and ventilation and flow-guide structure includes a wick tray, a heat isolation cover, and a wick. The heat isolation cover has support sections that are extended to form protrusion sections insertable into and mounted in mounting holes of the wick tray for secured combination and easy separation. The wick tray and the heat isolation cover provide a dual-layered heat isolation effect and also achieve an effect of heat dissipation. The wick is made of a metallic or ceramic material and has a surface over which a flame-blocking heat-isolating sleeve is fit to prevent downward spreading of flaming. A wind-shielding hood is provided on the fuel container to define therebetween a flow-guide opening for smooth ingress of air, preventing flaming from jumping.
