METHODS FOR REGENERATING A FILTER MEDIUM AND CLEANING FLUE GAS
Some non-limiting embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method of regenerating at least one filter medium, the method comprising flowing a flue gas stream through or by the at least one filter medium at a first temperature and increasing the temperature of the flue gas stream from the first temperature to a second temperature that exceeds the first temperature. Some non-limiting embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method of cleaning a flue gas stream, the method comprising maintaining the NO.sub.x removal efficiency by increasing the temperature of the flue gas stream from the first temperature to a second temperature that exceeds the first temperature.
Combustion system
Provided is a combustion system using a catalyst having better denitration efficiency at low temperatures, during a selective catalytic reduction reaction in which ammonia is used as a reducing agent. This combustion system comprises: a combustion device that combusts fuel; an exhaust path through which flows exhaust gas generated from the combustion of fuel in the combustion device; a dust collection device that is arranged on the exhaust path and collects ash dust/dust in the exhaust gas; and a denitration device that is arranged on the exhaust path and removes nitrogen oxides from the exhaust gas by means of a denitration catalyst, wherein the denitration device is arranged downstream of the dust collection device on the exhaust path, and the denitration catalyst contains vanadium oxide including vanadium pentoxide and has a defect site in which an oxygen atom is deficient in a crystal structure of the vanadium pentoxide.
Flue cap with filter
A flue pipe filter device for reducing nitrogen oxide (NOx) emission levels from gas fired appliances may include a flue cap with a pipe connection adapter sized to attach to an existing exhaust pipe; a fanned flue cap body with vents operatively attached to a distal end of the pipe connection adapter; and a filter positioned within the fanned flue cap body, the filter designed to convert NOx emissions into reduced NOx emissions. The filter may have an interior honeycomb structure.
BIOMASS HEATING SYSTEM, AS WELL AS ITS COMPONENTS
A biomass heating system for burning fuel in the form of pellets and/or wood chips is disclosed, the system comprising the following: a boiler with a combustion device, a heat exchanger with a plurality of boiler tubes, wherein the combustion device comprises: a combustion chamber with a rotating grate, with a primary combustion zone and with a secondary combustion zone; wherein the primary combustion zone is enclosed by a plurality of combustion chamber bricks laterally and by the rotating grate from below; wherein a plurality of secondary air nozzles is provided in the combustion chamber bricks; wherein the primary combustion zone and the secondary combustion zone are separated at the level of the secondary air nozzles; wherein the secondary combustion zone of the combustion chamber is fluidically connected to an inlet of the heat exchanger.
ROTATING GRATE WITH A CLEANING DEVICE FOR A BIOMASS HEATING SYSTEM
A rotating grate for a biomass heating system is disclosed, the grate comprising: at least one rotating grate element; at least one bearing axle, by means of which the rotating grate element is rotatably mounted; at least one cleaning device attached to one of the rotating grate elements, wherein the cleaning device comprises a mass element movable relative to the rotating grate element; wherein the cleaning device is arranged in such a way that, upon rotation of the rotating grate element, an acceleration movement of the mass element is initiated so that the cleaning device exerts a knocking effect on the rotating grate element in order to clean the rotating grate element.
BIOMASS HEATING SYSTEM WITH OPTIMIZED FLUE GAS TREATMENT
A biomass heating system for firing fuel in the form of pellets and/or wood chips is disclosed, comprising: a boiler with a combustion device; a heat exchanger with an inlet and an outlet; wherein the combustion device comprises a combustion chamber with a primary combustion zone and with a secondary combustion zone provided downstream thereof; the combustion device having a rotating grate on which the fuel can be burned; the secondary combustion zone of the combustion chamber being fluidically connected to the inlet of the heat exchanger the primary combustion zone being laterally enclosed by a plurality of combustion chamber bricks.
Combustion system
Provided is a combustion system using a catalyst having better denitration efficiency at low temperatures, during a selective catalytic reduction reaction in which ammonia is used as a reducing agent. This combustion system comprises: a combustion device that combusts fuel; an exhaust path through which flows exhaust gas generated from the combustion of fuel in the combustion device; a dust collection device that is arranged on the exhaust path and collects soot/dust in the exhaust gas; and a denitration device that is arranged on the exhaust path and removes nitrogen oxides from the exhaust gas by means of a denitration catalyst, wherein the denitration device is arranged downstream of the dust collection device on the exhaust path, and the denitration catalyst contains vanadium oxide, has a carbon content of 0.05 wt % or more, and has a defect site in which oxygen deficiency occurs in a crystal structure.
Wet abatement system
A wet abatement system which can suppress the accumulation of foreign matters in a treatment gas line is proposed. There is provided a wet abatement system for detoxifying treatment gas by bringing the treatment gas into contact with liquid. The wet abatement system includes an inlet casing having an inlet port from which the treatment gas is let in and an outlet port provided below the inlet port and through which the treatment gas flows, and a liquid film forming device provided between the inlet port and the outlet port and configured to form a liquid film on an inner wall surface of the inlet casing. A heater configured to heat the inlet casing is embedded in an interior of a wall portion of the inlet casing, the wall portion constituting a portion situated above the liquid film forming device.
System for Removing Particulate Matter from Biomass Combustion Exhaust Gas Comprising Gas Cyclones and Baghouses
A system for treating exhaust gas generated by combustion of biomass comprises a frame, a first cyclonic separation stage supported on the frame and comprising a plurality of parallel gas cyclones in fluidic communication with an inlet receiving the exhaust gas for removing from the exhaust gas particulate matter exceeding a first threshold size, and a second bag filtration stage supported on the frame and comprising a plurality of serially-communicated baghouses each comprising a plurality of bag filters therein for removing, from the partially treated exhaust gas received from the first cyclonic separation stage, particulate matter exceeding a second threshold size that is smaller than the first size which was passed through the first treatment stage. The gas cyclones of the first stage are arranged in a laterally extending row across the frame and the baghouses are arranged in a longitudinally extending row across the frame.
