System and Method to Cool an Exposed Surface of An Appliance
An appliance comprising a firebox, a first air duct and a room air chimney. During operation of the appliance heated room air adjacent to a viewing pane or the screen and heated room air from the first air duct is received within the chimney. The heated air within the chimney rises toward an open upper end causing the chimney to draw additional room air from adjacent to the viewing pane or screen.
Wood-Burning Appliance
The disclosure relates to a wood-burning appliance. The wood-burning appliance comprises a firebox and an airflow apparatus configured to provide a supply of oxygen for efficient primary and secondary fuel combustion within the firebox. An oven may be positioned above the firebox to improve heat exchange from exhaust exiting the wood-burning appliance. The wood-burning appliance may further have a pulley system for operation of a door that reduces gasket wear and allows the door to be at least partially removed from the wood-burning appliance for ease of access and maintenance.
Very shallow heating apparatus with very high yield and a wide view
A solid fuel heating apparatus (1) comprising a combustion chamber provided with a glass door (4) opening to the outside, an intake device (11) for the intake of outside combustion air into said chamber, an outlet duct for the burnt gases (2) and a sealed preheating enclosure for preheating the combustion air, conveying said air to the combustion chamber, connected at a first end to the intake device (11) and ending at a second end with a plurality of openings (9) releasing the air preheated by the preheating enclosure into the combustion chamber, characterized in that the preheating enclosure consists of a set of sealed heat exchanging pipes containing the combustion gases and the burnt gases (3, 8, 12, 15, 17, 18, 19), ending with the abovementioned openings (9), which are variable in size and are arranged in such a way as to modulate the flow of preheated air released into the chamber, enclosing the flame and combustion area in the natural conical shape of said chamber.
FIREPLACE ENHANCER
A fire place enhancer is provided for combusting fuel and for placement into a fireplace within a wall of a room, wherein the fireplace has a chimney. The fire place enhancer includes: a main air shield having a main exhaust port, a main access port an air ingestion port and an air supply port; an inner surface disposed with the main air shield so as to provide a combustion area for combusting the fuel, the inner surface having a rear surface and two side surfaces; and a heat manifold disposed above the combustion area, the heat manifold having a first end and a second end, the heat manifold being operable to pass gasses from the combustion area to the chimney.
Systems and methods for heating water using biofuel
The present invention may be embodied as a biofuel heating system comprising a controller for operating a fan based on a load operating parameter such that air flows along a flow path extending through a combustion chamber, through a burn-out port, through a burn-out chamber, through a heat exchange port, through a heat exchange chamber, and out of an exhaust port. A heat exchange system transfers heat energy from air flowing through the heat exchange chamber to a working fluid. The controller operates in a char mode based at least in part on the load operating parameter, and the biofuel remains within the combustion zone during the char mode.
Bidirectional blowing fireplace fan
A novel bidirectional blowing fireplace fan relates to the technical field of fireplace fan devices. A first motor and a second motor are arranged in a radiating bracket, the first motor and the second motor are respectively provided with a first fan blade and a second fan blade, and blowing directions of the first fan blade and the second fan blade are opposite. By arranging the wide radiating bracket and the fans blowing in opposite directions on both sides of the wide radiating bracket, bidirectional blowing is realized, so that heat is rapidly conducted in two directions at the same time; and meanwhile, power supply operation is carried out by using double thermoelectric generators, so that blowing is carried out more effectively, and heat-conducting efficiency is improved.
