The push-in catalyst assembly includes a body configured to support a catalytic material, the body having a distal end and a proximal end, a flange extending from a region of the proximal end of the body and configured to abut an inner surface of a wall of the cooking compartment, and a plurality of locking spring tabs extending outward from the body. The locking spring tabs have an end portion spaced from the flange by a predetermined distance. The flange and the end portion of each of the locking spring tabs are configured to secure the wall of the cooking compartment therebetween without a fastener.

ELECTRIC OVEN

The present invention relates to an electric oven capable of reducing contaminants, the electric oven comprising: an oven body having a cavity capable of accommodating food therein; and a convection assembly which is installed to protrude from one surface of the cavity and which can suck and remove contaminants generated when cooking the food and can heat the inside of the cavity. The convection assembly comprises: a cover case, protruding from one surface of the cavity, including a front surface which is spaced apart from the one surface of the cavity and has an inlet port, and a side surface which extends from the front surface to the one surface of the cavity and has an outlet port; a convection fan which is installed inside the cover case and allows air containing the contaminants to be sucked into the cover case through the inlet port and discharged through the outlet port; and a convection heater for heating the air sucked into the cover case by the convection fan to remove the contaminants, wherein the air discharged from the cover case moves in an upward inclined direction with respect to the one surface of the cavity.

Indoor pizza oven appliance

An oven appliance has a reflector positioned within a housing above an upper heating element. An air distribution manifold defines an entrance proximate a cooking chamber of the housing. A catalytic smoke reducer is positioned above the reflector at the entrance of the air distribution manifold. An air handler is operable to draw air from above the reflector through the catalytic smoke reducer and the entrance of the air distribution manifold.

Examples are disclosed that relate to cooking systems with internal ventilation systems. One example provides a cooking system comprising a ventilation duct. The ventilation duct comprises an inlet aperture configured to receive cooking exhaust. An ozone generator is configured to dispense ozone gas into the ventilation duct. The cooking system further comprises a fan disposed within the ventilation duct, the fan being configured to pull the cooking exhaust and the ozone through the inlet aperture and the ventilation duct. The cooking system further comprises a particulate removal system positioned within the ventilation duct between the inlet aperture and the fan. One or more cold catalysts are positioned downstream of the particulate removal system. The one or more cold catalysts are configured to catalytically decompose at least some residual ozone.

COOKING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME

A method of controlling a cooking apparatus, comprising a cleaning process comprising controlling a temperature in a cooking chamber such that the temperature in the cooking chamber is maintained at a preset first temperature for a preset first time, and controlling a temperature in a cooking chamber such that the temperature in the cooking chamber is maintained at a preset second temperature higher than the first temperature for a preset second time. A cooking apparatus comprising, a main body having a cooking chamber formed therein, a convection flow unit comprising a convection heater to heat air in the cooking chamber and a convection fan to circulate the air in the cooking chamber, and a metal foam installed at a periphery of the convection flow unit to collect and decompose cooking gas contained in the air in the cooking chamber.

Oven appliance

An oven appliance includes a baking stone positioned within a housing at a bottom portion of a cooking chamber. A casing is mounted to the housing at the opening of the housing. The casing extends about the opening of the housing and is removable from the housing. The casing may be replaced with an interchangeable casing having a different cosmetic appearance and/or operational features.

Cooking apparatus and method of controlling the same

A cooking apparatus including a filter which may efficiently collect gas and smoke generated in a pyro-cleaning process, and a method of controlling the same. The cooking apparatus includes a main body having a cooking chamber formed therein, a vent unit configured to discharge gas in the cooking chamber to the outside of the main body, and a filter installed in at least one of the cooking chamber and the vent unit to collect gas or smoke generated in the cooking chamber. The filter includes a metal sheet.

METHOD FOR OPERATING AN INDOOR PIZZA OVEN APPLIANCE

A method for operating an oven appliance includes working an upper heating element and a lower heating element of the oven appliance during a normal operating mode in order to heat a cooking chamber of the oven appliance. The upper heating element is positioned at a top portion of the cooking chamber. The lower heating element is positioned below a baking stone at a bottom portion of the cooking chamber. The method also includes deactivating the upper heating element and working the lower heating element in order to heat the baking stone during a user selected standby operating mode.

RANGE HOOD

A range hood is disclosed and includes a main body, an air guiding fan, a filtering component, and a controller. The main body is configured to form an airflow path. The air guiding fan is disposed in the airflow path and is operated to guide an air convection with an extraction rate over 22 m.sup.3/min. The filtering component is disposed in the airflow path and filters an air pollution in the air convection guided by the air guiding fan. The networking controller receives a control command through wireless communication to perform an activation operation of the air guiding fan.
