VAPOUR EXTRACTION DEVICE
The invention relates to a vapour extraction device for extracting cooking vapours downward. The vapour extraction device comprises a fan apparatus for sucking in the cooking vapours having a fan impeller which can be driven in rotation, a fan motor for supplying a drive torque, and a releasable fan coupling for transmitting the drive torque to the fan impeller.
Downdraft system
Some embodiments of the invention provide a downdraft assembly capable of ventilating a cooktop including housing with a frame, a fluid box, and a movement assembly with a belt-lift. In some embodiments, the movement assembly can include a vertically moveable chimney. Some embodiments include a chimney with a horizontal member coupled to a first vertical region and a second vertical region and including a fluid inlet. In some embodiments, a first control panel can be coupled to the housing to activate at least one function of the downdraft assembly while remaining substantially stationary as the chimney moves. Some embodiments include a second control panel coupled chimney. Some embodiments include a visor and at least one illumination source configured and arranged to at least partially illuminate the cooktop. In some embodiments, the visor can articulate to control illumination or the flow of a cooking effluent into a fluid inlet.
HOOD VENTILATION DEVICE
The present disclosure relates to a hood ventilation device for suctioning smoke, etc., which are produced when cooking food, with surrounding air and discharging them to the outside. The hood ventilation device includes at least: a hood; a stretchable tube connected at a first end to the hood and adjusting a distance between the hood and the grill; a filter box connected to a second end of the stretchable tube such that a bottom thereof communicates with the second end and having a spoiler to communicate with a top thereof; a filter member mounted in the filter box and capturing and removing oil of smoke flowing in the filter box through the stretchable tube; and a spring balancer mounted on the outer surface of an uppermost part of the stretchable tube, allowing the stretchable tube to move up and down, and fixing the stretchable tube at a predetermined height.
EXHAUST CANOPY
An exhaust canopy comprising: a stationary portion adapted for mounting on a stationary object, above cooking equipment; an exhaust portion for removing or filtering cooking effluent or fluids, the exhaust portion being adjustably connected, directly or indirectly, with the stationary portion or the stationary object; and an adjustment mechanism for moving the exhaust portion with respect to the stationary portion or the stationary object; wherein the exhaust canopy is adjustable between a first configuration in which the exhaust portion is raised, retracted or withdrawn and a second configuration in which the exhaust portion is lowered, protracted, or extended.
Cooking appliance with repositionable vent arm
A venting appliance for use with a cooking appliance including a cooktop with at least one cooking element disposed thereon, where the venting appliance may include: a housing configured to be positioned above the cooktop; a repositionable vent arm coupled to and extending below the housing; and a controller coupled to the repositionable vent arm and configured to determine that a first cooking element among at least one cooking elements is active, and in response thereto, automatically reposition the vent arm to be closer to the first cooking element.
Smoke exhaust hood apparatus having heater for cooking food
A smoke exhaust hood apparatus having a heater for cooking food according to the present invention comprises: a suction part for suctioning smoke generated at a cooking part; an exhaust pipe through which the smoke suctioned by the suction part is transferred; and a heater assembly disposed at one side of the outside of one of the exhaust pipe and the suction part, the heater assembly radiating heat from above the cooking part. The apparatus has a heater installed at a lower portion adjacent to the suction part of the smoke exhaust hood apparatus installed above a food, so as to heat the food from above, and thus can assist food cooking or can quickly cook a tasty food.
ADAPTABLE COOKING APPARATUS
A cooking apparatus that combines microwave based heating/cooking with either of blender/mixer grinder functionality and traditional cooking using open flame and/or induction cooking is disclosed. The cooking apparatus comprises a lid and at least one microwave producing device coupled to the lid. A lifting and lowering mechanism carries the lid and microwave producing device at a lower end for enabling vertically raising and lowering the lid along with the coupled microwave producing device. Upper end of lifting and lowering mechanism is slidably configured with a lower side of a chimney. Lid in lowered position gets operatively coupled with a container holding a food item. The container can be one for cooking food using conventional source of heat, or a container for preparatory operations such as blending, stirring, grinding and mixing. Coupling of the lid with the containers enables heating of the contents of the container through the microwaves generated by the at least one microwave producing device.
Portable air flow apparatus
A portable air flow apparatus may include a base configured to be seated on a surface, a head comprising a suction inlet through which air is suctioned into the head and a discharge outlet through which the air suctioned in through the suction inlet is discharged, the suction inlet and the discharge outlet being horizontally spaced apart from each other at a right angle with respect to a vertical direction, and a column that connects the head and the base in such a manner that the head is vertically spaced from the base.
Lifting Mechanism with Movable Component and for Range Hood, and Range Hood Using Lifting Mechanism
The present invention discloses a lifting mechanism for a moving component of a range hood and a range hood with the same, which comprises a mounting frame a moving component, a motor, a transmission mechanism, two lifting rods, a connecting member and two guide rails. The transmission mechanism moves the connecting member up and down along the guide rails, so that the lifting rods and the moving component are allowed to move up and down. The power for the lifting motion is provided by the transmission mechanism, the guide rails on two sides ensure the stability of the lifting motion, and the lifting rods fixed on two sides of the connecting member further transfers the motion downward to the smoke guide plate, so that the lifting motion of the smoke guide plate is very stable.
