An air-conditioning indoor unit and an air conditioner are provided. The indoor unit has a surface frame, a breezeless member, an outer deflector, a heat exchanger, and a fan. The surface frame has a first air outlet defined on a front lower part of the surface frame. The first air outlet penetrates a front part and a bottom of the surface frame. The breezeless member is disposed at a front side of the surface frame. The outer deflector is capable of opening and closing a bottom side of the first air outlet. The breezeless member is configured to open a front side of the first air outlet when located at a first position, and to close the front side of the first air outlet when located at a second position.

The controller may be configured to determine an activity level of an occupant for each of a plurality of areas of the indoor space based on a plurality of images corresponding to the indoor space; determine a direction of air discharged from the plurality of outlets based on the determined activity level; and control the airflow direction controller according to the direction of the air which is determined for the plurality of outlets.

The controller performs a drying process including: performing, a blowing process in which the blower fan is operated to blow air to the heat exchanger while the compressor is stopped, and performing a heating process in which the refrigerant is circulated in a direction that is changed from that of the cooling process, the blower fan is operated to blow air to the heat exchanger, and the compressor is operated to compress the refrigerant, thereby heating the surface of the heat exchanger and drying water condensed on the surface of the heat exchanger.
