The upward blowing control member closes the upward air outlet and the forward blowing control member is rotated and opens the forward air outlet during heating operation.

An air cleaner is provided that may include a cylindrical case including an inlet through which air is suctioned in a radial direction into the cylindrical case; a filter configured to be detachably provided in the case and having a cylindrical shape; and a filter frame configured to support the filter. The filter frame may include a lower frame provided at a lower portion of the filter; an upper frame provided at an upper portion of the filter; and a plurality of supporting frames that extends toward the upper frame from the lower frame. An entry portion for the suctioned air may be formed between the plurality of support frames, the entry portion being configured to receive the filter.

The air conditioner includes a cabinet, an air blower disposed in the cabinet to cause air to flow, a dust collector case forming a channel for the air caused to flow by the air blower, at least one electrode provided in the dust collector case and formed of carbon fibers to generate ions, and a charged dust collecting filter to collect foreign substances charged by ions generated by the electrode.

A load unit includes a water circuit chamber configured to accommodate at least a part of a water circuit configured to allow water to flow therethrough, a fan, an air inlet formed at a height positioned different from that of the air inlet and configured to suck indoor air therethrough, an air outlet configured to blow indoors the air sucked through the air inlet, and an air passage formed between the air inlet and the air outlet so as to be isolated from the water circuit chamber. A load-side heat exchanger is provided in the air passage.

An indoor unit of an air conditioner has an improved discharge structure of air. The indoor unit of an air conditioner includes a panel which defines an external appearance thereof and has an opening, a mixed flow fan which is located within the panel, a heat exchanger unit which is located rearward of the mixed flow fan, an inlet port which is located rearward of the heat exchanger unit so that air is suctioned from rearward of the heat exchanger unit to be introduced into the mixed flow fan, an outlet port which is exposed forward of the panel through the opening so that the air passing though the mixed flow fan is discharged through a front portion of the panel, and a plurality of circular louvers to open and close the outlet port by moving outwards from a center of the outlet port.
