AIR PURIFIER
An air purifier includes: a housing; an outlet in a top face of the housing, air being blown out via the outlet; a wall section in the housing, the wall section forming an air passage spatially continuous with the outlet; and a louver configured to change a direction of the air when rotated, wherein the louver extends from the air passage toward the outlet and includes a curved face section curved toward a front of the housing.
Air management apparatus or device
An air management device may include three independently operated primary impellers 131, 131, 131, and drawn-in air is discharged through discharge ports 15-1, 15-2, 15-3 provided in the front plate 15 of the housing 10. Louvers 141, 142, 143 installed downstream of the air flow and discharge ports 15-1, 15-2, 15-3 may be independently opened or closed to provide discharge of the air to the surrounding environment. Further, at least one retractable or pop-up fan may be provided. The air management allows customization of air flow. The housing 10 of the furniture-type air management device may be installed on the floor of the livable space and may have a hexahedron shape that extends from side to side. A bottom inlet 11 may be formed on the bottom plate 11 of the housing 10 facing the floor of the living space above a predetermined distance. The replaceable filter 300 may be installed to filter the air sucked through the bottom inlet 11, and may be drawn in and out of the housing 10. A plurality of passage openings 302 may be formed in a filter frame 301, and filters 320, 330, and 340 are stacked over the passage openings 302.

Indoor unit for air-conditioning apparatus
An indoor unit for an air-conditioning apparatus includes a plurality of axial-flow fans arranged side by side in a horizontal direction below an air inlet. Further, the indoor unit includes a plurality of filters provided to the air inlet so as to be arranged side by side. A cleaning mechanism and a dust box are further provided to the air inlet. Further, the dust box is arranged at a position between adjacent filters and adjacent axial-flow fans.
Methods and systems for detecting manhole events
A system for use with a connection comprising a terminus opening into an underground vault. The system includes a perturbation detector and a system controller. The perturbation detector is configured to detect values of each of one or more properties and transmit a signal encoding the values to the system controller. The system controller is configured to receive the signal, use at least one of the values to determine whether a fire is occurring or has occurred, and alert a user when the system controller determines that the fire is occurring or has occurred.
Flow restrictor for installation in an underground conduit connected to an underground vault
A flow restrictor for installation in a connection having a terminus opening into an underground vault. The flow restrictor includes an annular restriction device and a concentration member. The annular restriction device is configured to be installed in the annulus near the terminus opening and to restrict a flow of one or more gases through the annulus of the connection. The concentration member is configured to concentrate the flow and includes a through-channel configured to allow the concentrated flow to flow between the underground vault and the annulus.
AIR CONDTIONING APPARATUS INDOOR UNIT INCLUDING REFRIGERANT DETECTION SENSOR
An indoor unit includes: a blow-out port through which air is blown into a space to be air-conditioned; a refrigerant flow path through which flammable refrigerant gas flows; and a refrigerant detection sensor that detects the flammable refrigerant gas that leaks out of the refrigerant flow path. The refrigerant detection sensor faces the space. The refrigerant detection sensor includes a casing. The casing includes a gas intake port that takes in the flammable refrigerant gas. An outside-air-flow-area part of the refrigerant detection sensor is disposed outside of an air flow area through which the air blown through the blow-out port passes. The gas intake port is disposed on the outside-air-flow-area part.
