A humidifier that suppresses formation of a slime, a scale, and a dew bridge in a lower portion of a humidifying member thereby preventing degradation in humidifying performance. The humidifier includes one or more porous metal bodies serving as the humidifying member and including therein a plurality of voids, a fan that blows air to the porous metal body, a water-supplying device (a supply pipe, a reservoir, and a nozzle) that supplies water to the porous metal body, and the porous metal body includes a tip portion formed in a lower end portion, in a protruding shape or a pointed shape.
Air conditioner with selective filtering for air purification
A split air conditioner has a cabinet with a fan and evaporator for mounting within a structure. The cabinet includes one or more movable dampers or movable filters positioned in the flow path between the air inlet and the outlet for selectively filtering contaminants from the air to provide a greater or lesser degree of filtration of the air. The movable filters include sliding and/or pivot mounting structure which may accommodate stacking multiple filters with different filtering characteristics. The system may operate in a filtering only mode with no cooling, a cooling only mode with no filtering, or a combination of cooling and selective filtering.
FILTER ASSEMBLY, VENTILATION ASSEMBLY AND AIR-CONDITIONING APPARATUS
A filter assembly, a ventilation assembly and an air-conditioning apparatus are provided. The filter assembly includes: a filter screen configured to filter air; a supporting portion configured to support the filter screen arranged to the supporting portion; and a mounting portion configured to mount the filter assembly to or adjacent to a mounting port of an apparatus to be provided with the filter assembly, and a shape and a size of the mounting portion matching with those of the mounting port to cover the mounting port. The mounting portion includes a sealing part having a shape approximately the same with a shape of a gap between the mounting portion and the mounting port and has an interference fit with the gap, to seal the gap between the mounting portion and the mounting port.
VENTILATION ASSEMBLY AND AIR CONDITIONING APPARATUS
A ventilation assembly and an air conditioning apparatus are provided. The ventilation assembly includes: a volute, a surface of the volute being provided with a mounting port; a filter assembly arranged in the mounting port or in a portion of the volute adjacent to the mounting port; and a sealing member arranged with the mounting port or with the portion of the volute adjacent to the mounting port, and configured to seal a gap between the filter assembly and the mounting port.

Method and apparatus are disclosed for filter racks for blower coil units. An example filter rack for a blower coil unit includes a frame. The frame includes a rear frame structure, a front frame structure coupled to and spaced apart from the rear frame structure to define a slot that is configured to house a filter for filtering air flowing from a blow coil unit, and a side extending between the front frame structure and the rear frame structure. The side defines a first opening to the slot to enable the filter to be inserted into and removed from the slot. The example filter rack also includes a magnet fixed along the side and a panel configured to couple to the side via the magnet. The panel securely encloses the filter within the slot when coupled to the side and provides access to the slot when decoupled from the side.
