Outdoor unit of air-conditioning apparatus
An outdoor unit of an air-conditioning apparatus includes: a terminal unit that is provided on an outer peripheral surface of a compressor, and electrically connects components provided in the compressor and outside the compressor; a side soundproof cover that covers the outer peripheral surface of the compressor except for the terminal unit; and a terminal cover that covers the terminal unit exposed from the side soundproof cover to the outside of the side soundproof cover, and soundproofs the terminal unit. The terminal cover is attached to the side soundproof cover such that the state of the terminal cover can be changed between a state in which the terminal cover covers the terminal unit and a state in which the terminal cover does not cover the terminal unit.

Switching device for multi-split air conditioner and multi-split air conditioner having same
A switching device for a multi-split air conditioner and a multi-split air conditioner having same. The switching device has a base, a drain tank, multiple damping pads, and multiple fixing members. The base has a bottom wall and side walls, the side walls surrounding the bottom wall and extending upward from the edge of the bottom wall. The drain tank is disposed in the base, and the bottom surface of the drain tank is vertically spaced apart from the bottom wall of the base. The multiple damping pads are disposed on the drain tank and arranged at intervals in the circumferential direction of the drain tank. The multiple fixing members are respectively disposed on the damping pads and are connected to the side walls of the base. The multiple fixing members are all spaced apart from the drain tank.
Damper for a compressor of an air conditioning appliance
An air conditioner unit includes a cabinet including a base pan that defines at least one alignment feature and a compressor mounted to the base pan using mechanical fasteners that pass through mounting feet and into mounting bosses defined on the base pan. A damper is positioned between the compressor and the base pan and includes a lower pad seated on the base pan, an upper pad extending from the lower pad along the vertical direction and contacting a bottom surface of the compressor, and at least one stopping feature defined on the lower pad or the upper pad, the at least one stopping feature engaging the at least one alignment feature to prevent rotation of the damper.

Soundproof cover of a compressor
A cover for a compressor defines an accommodating space configured to receive the compressor. The cover includes a first cover that is configured to be spaced apart from an outer surface of the compressor and that define a first portion of the accommodating space, and a second cover that is detachably attached to the first cover and configured to be spaced apart from the outer surface of the compressor and that defines a second portion of the accommodating space. The first cover and the second cover are configured to reduce transmission of noise generated from the compressor to an outside of the accommodating space.

Compressor unit, outdoor unit of air-conditioning apparatus, and air-conditioning apparatus
A compressor unit includes a compressor, pipes connected to a suction side and a discharge side of the compressor, and a sound absorbing member. The sound absorbing member includes a plurality of support portions, where at least one of the plurality of support portions is a hook portion formed by folding the sound absorbing member and joining upper edge portions of the sound absorbing member to each other. The pipes include a bent portion that connects two portions extending in an up/down direction and that is located in an upper region in the compressor unit. An upper portion of the sound absorbing member is positioned by hooking the hook portion to one of the bent portions, and the sound absorbing member is held by the plurality of support portions such that the sound absorbing member is suspended and thus located apart from a base on which the compressor is mounted.
