The housing may define an outdoor portion and an indoor portion. The outdoor heat exchanger assembly may be disposed in the outdoor portion and include an outdoor heat exchanger and an outdoor fan. The indoor heat exchanger assembly may be disposed in the indoor portion and include an indoor heat exchanger and an indoor fan. The compressor may be in fluid communication with the outdoor heat exchanger and the indoor heat exchanger to circulate a refrigerant between the outdoor heat exchanger and the indoor heat exchanger. The electronics casing may be disposed in the outdoor portion apart from the outdoor heat exchanger. The electronics casing may define a board chamber in which the electronics board may be mounted.

Outdoor unit of air conditioner

An outdoor unit of an air conditioner includes a compressor that compresses a first refrigerant introduced from an indoor unit of the air conditioner and a condenser that condenses the first refrigerant compressed by the compressor. A first driving circuit drives the compressor and a second driving circuit regulates a voltage of the first driving circuit. A cooling unit includes: a heat dissipation member that comes into thermal contact with the first driving circuit and the second driving circuit, and a refrigerant pipe that is provided in the heat dissipation member, and has a path along which a second refrigerant moves through the first driving circuit and the second driving circuit. As a result, it is possible to efficiently cool the first driving circuit and the second driving circuit.

HEAT EXCHANGER FOR POWER ELECTRONICS

A power electronics assembly includes one or more power electronics devices, and a heat exchanger to which the one or more power electronics devices are mounted. The heat exchanger includes one or more fluid pathways extending through the heat exchanger to transfer thermal energy from the one or more power electronics devices into a flow of fluid passing through the one or more fluid pathways. The flow of fluid is a flow of liquid refrigerant diverted from a condenser of a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system. The one or more power electronics devices includes at least one power electronics device located on each opposing lateral side of the heat exchanger.

Air Conditioner for Sealed Enclosures

An air conditioner for an enclosure that can include a housing that partly defines an ambient air exchange cavity and a tub that further defines the ambient air exchange cavity and partly defines a cooling cavity. The tub can support a first heat exchanger within the ambient air exchange cavity, and a second heat exchanger and a fan within the cooling cavity. The second heat exchanger can be included in a coolant flow loop with the first heat exchanger and the fan can move air across the second heat exchanger and into the inlet of the enclosure. The second heat exchanger can be located above the fan. A fluid trap can be provided below the second heat exchanger and adjacent the fan to capture condensate from the second heat exchanger and can direct the condensate into the ambient air exchange cavity for disposal.
