INDOOR UNIT AND REFRIGERATION CYCLE APPARATUS
An indoor unit includes a main unit including an air inlet through which air enters from a room and an air outlet through which air blows into the room, an electrical component box mounted on an outer surface of the main unit and accommodating an electrical device, a refrigerant pipe connection portion to which a refrigerant pipe through which refrigerant passes is connected, a drain pipe connection portion to which a drain pipe through which drain water discharged from the main unit passes is connected, and an installation bolt attachment bracket mounted on the outer surface of the main unit and fixing the main unit to an installation bolt suspended from above a ceiling. The indoor unit has the refrigerant pipe connection portion, the drain pipe connection portion, and the electrical component box on the same mounting surface.
OUTDOOR UNIT
An outdoor unit is an outdoor unit to which a refrigerant pipe used to circulate refrigerant between an indoor unit and the outdoor unit, the outdoor unit including a compressor and an outdoor heat exchanger. The outdoor unit includes: a rectangular bottom panel disposed below the compressor and the outdoor heat exchanger, the rectangular bottom panel supporting the compressor and the outdoor heat exchanger; a peripheral panel disposed on a peripheral portion of the bottom panel and positioned upright on the bottom panel; a fixing panel disposed at a corner portion of the bottom panel to be located at an inner side of the peripheral panel and positioned upright on the bottom panel; and a valve which is fixed to the fixing panel and to which the refrigerant pipe is connected.
AIR CONDITIONER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING PIPING
An air conditioner includes: a turbo compressor that compresses a heat medium; a heat exchanger that exchanges heat of the heat medium supplied from the turbo compressor with an atmosphere; and a supply flow path and a discharge flow path that connect the turbo compressor and the heat exchanger. At least one of the supply flow path and the discharge flow path includes piping, and the piping includes a gas barrier layer that covers a surface of a synthetic resin.

Refrigeration Tubing Receptacle Box
A receptacle box for conveniently and efficiently locating the terminal ends of the refrigeration line set, condensation drain and low voltage wires leading down from an air conditioner unit during initial construction of a building, is disclosed. Specifically, a rectangular box having a top, bottom, angled back, and sides, but open on the front, and having openings on the top through which the line set, condensation drain and low voltage wires can be passed, is disclosed. The receptacle box is mounted in a cutout on the exterior wall of the building before siding is installed.

AIR CONDITIONER
An air conditioner includes: a first refrigerant tube that includes a first portion, and through which a liquid refrigerant flows; and a second refrigerant tube that includes a second portion that is disposed above the first portion and overlaps the first portion when viewed vertically, and through which a liquid refrigerant flows. The first portion is surrounded with a first heat insulating material.

NESTED HVAC LINES
A heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) conduit includes a first HVAC line at least partially nested within a second HVAC line having a configuration defining a U- or C-shaped receiver in cross-section. The first HVAC line is fabricated of a first material and the second HVAC line is fabricated of a second material that is different from the first material.
System and method for sealing and supporting external pipe connections in fluid lines and directing escaped fluids to a cabinet in an HVAC system
A stub pipe housing and a method for installing a stub pipe housing in a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (“HVAC”) system, the stub pipe housing comprising a first end for sealed contact with an external surface of a cabinet in the HVAC system and a non-permeable material extending to a second end for sealed contact with an external pipe. Sealed contact between the first end and the cabinet, sealed contact between the second end and the external surface, and the non-permeable material ensures any fluid escaping the connection between the stub pipe and the external pipe is directed to the cabinet. The stub pipe housing supports the connection using resilient material, rigid material with compliant seals or some combination. Fluids are directed to flow through the stub pipe opening in the cabinet or directed to flow through other openings.
