METHOD TO CONTROL CLEANROOM CONDITIONS
20230116873 · 2023-04-13 ·

The method to control cleanroom conditions, including zone particle concentration, occupancy status, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system conditions, includes detecting a zone particle concentration, an occupancy status, and HVAC system conditions. The cleanroom includes the HVAC system in communication with the zone of the cleanroom and with a computer processor as a control unit of the cleanroom. The zone particle concentration, the occupancy status, and the HVAC system conditions are communicated to the computer processor, and a desired zone particle concentration is determined based on a range of desired HVAC system conditions with model predictive control. A first control signal to the HVAC system based on the occupancy status, the zone particle concentration, and the desired zone particle concentration is determined. The first control signal is communicated to the HVAC system, and the HVAC system activates according to the first control signal.

SYSTEM FOR CREATING A MICROENVIRONMENT WITHIN AN AMBIENT ENVIRONMENT
20220333797 · 2022-10-20 ·

A system and method for creating a microenvironment within an ambient environment is disclosed. The first outlet is configured for expelling a gas at a first velocity sufficient for producing a gas curtain that separates the microenvironment from the ambient environment. The second outlet is configured for expelling the gas at a second velocity within the microenvironment. An inlet is spaced apart from the first outlet and the second outlet and is in fluid communication with a suction unit. The suction unit is positioned downstream of the inlet and configured for removing gas from the microenvironment through the inlet. The first velocity is greater than the second velocity.

Air-wall room system

An air-wall room system, suspended from a room ceiling, having a compressed air discharge duct. The air discharge duct is used for circulating compressed air into a hollow, four sided, upper air-wall frame with air openings. The air from the upper air-wall frame is circulated into a work space. The hollow upper air-wall frame includes air discharge ports for creating an air-wall. The air-wall, similar to a curtain, prevents toxic gases from escaping outside the work space. Corners of the upper air-wall frame are attached to vertical frame members. A bottom of the vertical frame members is attached to corners of a hollow, four sided, lower air-wall frame. The lower air-wall frame includes vacuum ports for receiving the bottom of the air-wall. A side of the lower air-wall frame is connected to a vacuum air exhaust duct. The air exhaust duct is used for drawing a vacuum in the hollow lower air-wall frame and exhausting the air-wall out a vacuum air exhaust duct.

Method for preparation of pharmaceutical products
09849432 · 2017-12-26 · ·

A method for the preparation of pharmaceutical products is provided that utilizes a machine having a containing liner, a dosing chamber for preparing at least one pharmaceutical product accommodated within the containing liner, and a pneumatic ventilation device for feeding two air flows through the dosing chamber and through the containing liner, respectively. Operation of the pneumatic ventilation device is selectively controlled so that the containing liner has inside a pressure lower than a pressure existing within the dosing chamber and than a pressure existing in the environment outside the containing liner itself.

DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CARRYING OUT DECONTAMINATION MEASURES, METHOD FOR PREPARING DECONTAMINATION MEASURES AND METHOD FOR MONITORING DECONTAMINATION MEASURES
20230175714 · 2023-06-08 ·

A method for preparing decontamination measures within a room located in a building and used by people includes a planning acquisition step. Therein, a plurality of regions of use within the room are identified, and for each region an expected use intensity is determined based on previously determined parameters. In a subsequent planning implementation step, for each region of use, proceeding from the expected use intensity, a suction means assigned to said region of use and having an associated supply air volume flow is specified. In a method by carrying out the decontamination measures, while the decontamination measures are being carried out, operation of individual suction means is adjusted to an actual use of the assigned region of use by people, and a suction volume flow suctioned by the suction means in question is specified, between a minimum value specified for the suction means in question, and a maximum value.
