An apparatus for humidifying air in an air duct The invention relates to an apparatus for humidifying air in an air duct (1), comprising a feeding device for a liquid mist (10) and an air conducting device located upstream of the feeding device in the direction of flow (2). In order to provide advantageous humidifying conditions it is proposed that the air conducting device comprises at least one wing (7) which extends transversely to the direction of flow (2) and has an airfoil profile which is pitched against the direction of flow (2).

A portable misting system includes a housing, an air pump carried by the housing to provide a flow of air, a water reservoir carried by the housing to hold a supply of water, and a water pump carried by the water reservoir to provide a flow of water droplets. An air/water nozzle assembly is carried by the housing and includes a nozzle body and a misting nozzle coupled to an output of the nozzle body. The nozzle body has an air input coupled to the air pump to receive the flow of air, and a water input coupled to the water pump to receive the flow of water droplets.

An apparatus, system, and method for providing a non-linear fluid stream into an environment for cooling purposes are disclosed. Such an apparatus includes a body portion and a nozzle, the nozzle being adapted to direct water into the environment. Such an apparatus may include a body portion having a flow channel defined therein for gas flow therethrough; and, a nozzle operatively disposed within the flow channel; said nozzle adapted to direct a liquid therefrom; wherein the channel and the nozzle are operatively disposed relative to each other so that a gas flowing through the channel and the liquid are combined into a fluid stream directed from the apparatus into the surrounding environment.
Humidifier utilizing filtered water
A humidifier is provided that typically includes a water filtration unit and a pump that draws filtered water from the water filtration unit, typically a carbon nanotube filter. The humidifier further includes a nozzle having an outlet orifice, wherein the nozzle is connected to the pump, where the pump forces the filtered water through the nozzle, thereby expelling the filtered water into an atmosphere in the form of a purified vapor or mist.

A long-range nozzle for introducing air into a room comprising a nozzle body (1) opening in a nozzle opening (13) is described. In order to enable an advantageous air moistening, it is proposed that the nozzle opening (13) is surrounded by a coaxial crown of atomizer nozzles (8) which are connected to an annular channel (9) to which pressurized liquid can be applied.
Personal evaporative cooling apparatus
A portable evaporative cooling apparatus includes a primary passage for delivering a primary air stream to an induction nozzle. A secondary passage that is substantially unobstructed extends from an ambient air inlet to the induction nozzle. A secondary air stream is induced through the secondary passage by the primary air stream and the primary and secondary air streams are ejected from the induction nozzle into the ambient air. An atomizer in the secondary passage, proximate the ambient air inlet, emits a fine spray of water into the secondary air stream. The mixing of the water spray and induced air flow is performed inside the induction nozzle, which also provides a physical and thermal barrier, and makes a completely cooled air stream available immediately outside the user, so the apparatuses may be placed close to the user's face, for example.

A portable, self-contained cooling device includes a base, a reservoir fixedly secured to the base and arranged to store a liquid usable for cooling. The device also includes a fan assembly fixedly secured to the reservoir at a location above the reservoir. The fan assembly includes a fan configured to generate an airflow, a motor configured to operate the fan, and a nozzle disposed to spray the liquid as a mist into the airflow. The device also includes a power source configured to power the fan, the power source being disposed at an elevation adjacent to or below the reservoir.

A heat exchanger according to an embodiment includes an air supply path through which supply air supplied to a target space from the outside of the target space passes; an exhaust path through which exhaust air discharged from the target space to the outside of the target space passes; a partition member that divides the air supply path and the exhaust path and performs heat exchange between the supply air and the exhaust air; a separation member that adsorbs moisture in the air or discharges the adsorbed moisture to the air; and a decompression path that is provided at the air supply path side, is divided from the air supply path by the separation member, and is connected to a decompression pump.
