Space purification system includes: hypochlorous acid water supplier that supplies hypochlorous acid water to mixing tank; water supplier that supplies water to mixing tank; water level sensor that detects a water level of mixing tank; air purifier that micronizes and releases, into air, mixed water of the hypochlorous acid water and the water stored in mixing tank; and air purification control unit that controls supply treatment and drainage treatment of the mixed water. Air purification control unit (i) executes first control of causing hypochlorous acid water supplier to perform supply of the hypochlorous acid water at predetermined time intervals, and second control of causing water supplier to perform supply of water based on information regarding the water level of mixing tank from water level sensor, and (ii) executes, as the control of the drainage treatment, third control of causing the mixing tank to drain the mixed water stored in mixing tank based on an integrated humidification amount in air purifier.

Disclosed is a wet air purifier that eliminates contaminants while contaminated air passes therethrough by causing the contaminated air to come into contact with water. The wet air purifier suctions external air by rotating a rotary fan installed therein and disperses water droplets by causing water to collide with a rotary fan to increase a contact surface between air and water. In the wet air purifier, a mixture of the contaminated external air and the water is made to pass through a long narrow passage and guided to a storage tank in which contaminants are settled. In this way, the wet air purifier increases a retention time and a collision time of water and contaminated air. The wet air purifier also can function as a humidifier.
