AIR-CONDITIONING APPARATUS, AND AIR DISCHARGE METHOD FOR AIR-CONDITIONING APPARATUS
The heat-medium cycle circuit includes a discharge mechanism including a discharge valve, the discharge mechanism being configured to, when the discharge valve is open, discharge air present inside the heat-medium cycle circuit to the outside of the heat-medium cycle circuit. The air-conditioning apparatus is configured to execute an air discharge operation mode in which the air present inside the heat-medium cycle circuit is discharged to the outside of the heat-medium cycle circuit. The air discharge operation mode includes a first operation mode, and a second operation mode performed after the first operation mode. The first operation mode is an operation mode in which, with the discharge valve being closed, an operation similar to a cooling operation is performed. The second operation mode is an operation mode in which, with the discharge valve being open, an operation similar to a heating operation is performed.
Plug and play universal input actuator
An actuator in a HVAC system includes a motor and a drive device driven by the motor. The drive device is coupled to a movable HVAC component for driving the movable HVAC component between multiple positions. The actuator includes an input connection configured to receive an input signal and a processing circuit coupled to the motor. The processing circuit is configured to determine whether the input signal is an AC voltage signal or a DC voltage signal. The processing circuit is configured to operate the motor using an AC motor control technique in response to determining that the input signal is an AC voltage signal and configured to operate the motor using a DC motor control technique in response to determining that the input signal is a DC voltage signal.

MECHANICAL-COOLING, FREE-COOLING, AND HYBRID-COOLING OPERATION OF A CHILLER
A chiller system includes a mechanical-cooling circuit configured to circulate a refrigerant through an evaporator of the mechanical-cooling circuit, where the evaporator is configured to cool a conditioning fluid with the refrigerant. The chiller system also includes a free-cooling circuit configured to circulate the refrigerant through a heat exchanger of the free-cooling circuit, where the heat exchanger is configured to cool the conditioning fluid with the refrigerant. The chiller system also includes a distribution header having a first inlet configured to receive the refrigerant from the mechanical-cooling circuit, a second inlet configured to receive the refrigerant from the free-cooling circuit, and an internal volume fluidly coupled to the first inlet and the second inlet. A fan coil unit of the chiller system is configured to receive the refrigerant from the internal volume of the distribution header.
Air conditioning system with coolant pressure management
An air conditioning system for a vehicle, having an evaporator configured for a heat exchange between a coolant and air, a fan configured to generate an air flow passing through the evaporator and intended to be fed into a vehicle passenger compartment, at least one pressure sensor configured to measure the pressure of the coolant, and a control unit to adjust the rotation speed of the fan, configured to automatically decrease the rotation speed of the fan when the detected pressure of the coolant rises above a pressure threshold, so as to reduce the air flow on the evaporator and thus reduce the pressure of the coolant is provided.

Airconditioning apparatus
Provided is an air conditioning apparatus that sufficiently raises the temperature of hot air to be blown out when receiving a request for high-temperature air temporarily raising the temperature of the hot air. A first use side unit includes a first use side heat exchanger and a first use side fan. A second use side unit includes a second use side heat exchanger and a second use side fan. When the first use side unit receives a request for the high-temperature air and the second use side unit receives no request for the high-temperature air, the air conditioning apparatus shifts to a mode that performs control to reduce the airflow volume of the second use side fan or make the airflow volume of the second use side fan zero such as reducing the number of revolutions of the second use side fan in another room by 40 rpm.
Air handling unit control system
An air handling unit control system is applied to an air handling unit having a plurality of hardware devices. The air handling unit control system includes at least one expansion module and a main controller. The at least one expansion module is configured to be electrically connected to at least one expanded hardware device. The main controller is electrically connected to the expansion module to control the expanded hardware device. The main controller provides a setting interface according to the hardware devices and the expanded hardware device. The setting interface includes a plurality of setting items. When at least one of the setting items is triggered, the main controller executes a corresponding setting procedure according to the triggered setting item to set up the hardware devices and the expanded hardware device.
