NOZZLE FOR A FAN ASSEMBLY
A nozzle for a fan assembly includes an air inlet, a first air outlet and a second air outlet that are oriented in convergent directions, and a valve for controlling the first and second air outlets. The valve includes one or more valve members that are moveable to simultaneously adjust the size of the first air outlet and inversely adjust the size of the second air outlet. The nozzle further includes a third air outlet and a fourth air outlet, the third air outlet being opposite the fourth air outlet, the third and fourth air outlets being oriented in convergent directions.
Swivel fan guards
In one instance, a cooling unit for cooling a refrigerated room includes a fan base and a fan guard that both twist and rotate to change pitch thereby allowing the cooling unit air to be directed in many directions as desired. The fan base has a flange portion and a conduit portion. The conduit portion of the fan base mates with an opening in a conduit member of the fan guard. The opening in the fan guard is sized and configured to form an interference fit with at least a portion of a conduit portion of the fan base while allowing rotation of the fan guard relative to the fan base about the longitudinal axis. The second longitudinal end of the fan-guard conduit member is at least partially angled to allow the rotation about a lateral axis in order to pitch the direction of the grill front wall.

Air conditioner
An air conditioner includes a heat exchanger for exchanging heat with air brought into a housing, and a blower fan for blowing air that has exchanged heat with the heat exchanger out of the housing, and controls a guide unit that opens or closes part of an outlet provided in the housing to blow out various flows of air.

Air vent assembly and control system
An air vent control system comprises a directional air flow component mounted on a first axis within a first housing, and a second housing defining an inner space in which the first housing is mounted. A first motor moves the directional air flow component to an angular position within the first housing, and a second motor pivots the first housing contained within the second housing. A front and rear opening allows air flow in a direction from the rear opening to the front opening. A controller sets the angular position of the directional air flow component on the first axis, and the angular position of the first housing on the second axis. The respective positions of the directional air flow component relative to the first housing and the first housing relative to the second housing selectively regulate the direction of airflow discharged.
VORTEX RING GENERATION DEVICE
A vortex ring generation device includes a casing and an extrusion mechanism. The casing has a gas passage and a discharge port. The extrusion mechanism extrudes gas in the gas passage such that the gas in a vortex ring shape is discharged from the discharge port. V (m.sup.3) represents an extrusion volume, D (m) represents a diameter of the discharge port, L (m) represents a length of a cylinder having the diameter D and the volume V, and U (m/s) represents a discharge flow rate 0.045≤D≤0.135, 0.15≤L≤0.35, and 3≤U≤5.
Profiled damper and fan for controlling air flow direction in an air duct
A device for controlling air flow in an air duct comprises a rotary, profiled damper, a fan or turbine, and an actuator. The profiled damper comprises two rotatable integral canopies, a central opening therebetween, flat ribs extending outwardly from the canopies and towards an interior of the air duct, wherein an axis of rotation of said canopies coincides with an axis of rotation of the profiled damper and the canopies are arranged on the opposite sides of the profiled damper. The profiled damper is characterized in that the actuator is configured to reverse a position of the profiled damper, thereby reversing a direction of an air stream generated by the fan or turbine.

Humidifier with Air Guiding Arrangement
A humidifier includes a main housing, a fan unit and an air guiding arrangement, which includes a guiding roller and a partitioning assembly. The partitioning assembly is supported in the main housing at a position adjacent to the guiding roller to substantially enclose the water storage compartment. The partitioning assembly defines at least one air slot and an air passage channel, wherein when the fan unit and the guiding roller are driven to rotate, air is drawn from the air inlet and guided to pass through the air slot to reach the water storage compartment for effectively mixing with the water in the water storage compartment to form a predetermined amount of mist. The mist is arranged to pass through the partitioning assembly through the air passage channel and the fan unit, and eventually discharged out of the main housing.
