A laminar flow diffuser with integrated lighting has a frame for supporting an air plenum and a lower housing. The air plenum receives conditioned air from a source of conditioned. The lower housing is attached to the bottom of the plenum. An aperture plate damper installed below the top plenum regulates the flow of air from the plenum through the laminar flow diffuser. A clear or translucent engineered, fire rated polymer perforated diffuser face forms the outlet from the lower housing to the room below. LED strips are positioned around the inside periphery of the lower housing. A light guide is installed adjacent the LED lighting strips to spread the light across the area of the perforated diffuser face.

A ceiling system is provided that has a ceiling structure suspended within a space of a building thereby dividing the space into an occupied space below the ceiling structure and a plenum space above the ceiling structure; a panel structure supported by the ceiling structure and having an opening; a pressurized air passageway aligned with the opening, the pressurized air passageway having an outlet; and an inductive air passageway adjacent the pressurized air passageway, the inductive air passageway having an inlet and an outlet. Wherein the pressurized air passageway and the inductive air passageway are configured such that pressurized air passing through the outlet of the pressurized air passageway induces an induced air flow out of the outlet of the inductive air passageway.

A ceiling system is provided that has a ceiling structure suspended within a space of a building thereby dividing the space into an occupied space below the ceiling structure and a plenum space above the ceiling structure; a panel structure supported by the ceiling structure and having an opening; a pressurized air passageway aligned with the opening, the pressurized air passageway having an outlet; and an inductive air passageway adjacent the pressurized air passageway, the inductive air passageway having an inlet and an outlet. Wherein the pressurized air passageway and the inductive air passageway are configured such that pressurized air passing through the outlet of the pressurized air passageway induces an induced air flow out of the outlet of the inductive air passageway.

A floor system for detecting refrigerant includes one or more tiles. Each tile includes a tile body having a cavity formed therein and a grille element positioned within the cavity of the tile body. The grille element is configured to receive air from at least one of above or below the tile body. Each tile further includes a control assembly associated with the grille element. The control assembly includes a refrigerant sensing device to detect refrigerant in the received air. The control assembly is configured to output a signal indicating a detection of refrigerant.

An air conditioning system includes: an intake unit configured to take in return air of an indoor space from a ceiling of the indoor space; an outdoor air processing unit configured to supply outdoor air while exhausting the return air taken in via the intake unit to outdoors; an air conditioner configured to supply, as air-conditioning air, mixed air of the return air taken in via the intake unit and the outdoor air supplied by the outdoor air processing unit; and at least one radiation unit disposed in the indoor space in a manner to surround the intake unit, the radiation unit being configured to radiate heat of the air-conditioning air supplied by the air conditioner while discharging the air-conditioning air to the indoor space.

A pneumatic radiation air conditioner includes: a radiation unit configured to radiate air-conditioning air; and a fan configured to feed the air-conditioning air to the radiation unit. The radiation unit includes: a first chamber, through which the air-conditioning air flows; a second chamber configured to take in the air-conditioning air discharged from the first chamber and discharge the air-conditioning air and radiate heat of the air-conditioning air to a space to be air conditioned; and an air stream adjuster configured to adjust air velocity distribution and air volume distribution of the air-conditioning air that is discharged from the first chamber to the second chamber.

The moveable air delivery system further comprising an air inlet configured to receive air and an air outlet configured to output the air into a space. The localized HVAC further comprising a movement system configured to move the air outlet in a generally planar manner. The movement system further comprising an air delivery support system configured to support the air outlet, the air delivery support system configured to move the air outlet in an air delivery plane.

An exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure provides a localized heating, ventilation, or air conditioning (HVAC) system comprising a moveable air delivery system comprising. The moveable air delivery system further comprising an air inlet configured to receive air and an air outlet configured to output the air into a space. The localized HVAC further comprising a movement system configured to move the air outlet in a generally planar manner. The movement system further comprising an air delivery support system configured to support the air outlet, the air delivery support system configured to move the air outlet in an air delivery plane.
