EQUIPMENT MOUNTING SYSTEMS AND PROCESSES THEREOF

An equipment mounting system for mounting equipment to a support structure is described. An equipment mounting system including: (i) a mounting plate having defined therein a plate aperture of a particular shape; (ii) a bolt having a shaft portion including a threaded portion and a non-threaded portion that is of a complementary shape that complements the particular shape of the plate aperture; and (iii) a washer having defined therein a scored aperture that includes multiple radially extending scorings. In an assembled configuration of the mounting plate, the bolt and the washer, the plate aperture of the particular shape aligns with the scoring aperture such that both of the plate aperture and the scoring aperture receive the non-threaded portion of the complementary shape, and the particular shape of the mounting plate engages with the complementary shape of the bolt to prevent rotational displacement of the bolt around the mounting plate.

GRID ASSEMBLY INTELLIGENT PHOTOVOLTAIC POWER GENERATION SYSTEM

A grid assembly intelligent photovoltaic power generation system includes a supporting unit, a separated composite stand secured on the supporting unit, a square axle arranged on the separated composite stand and capable of rotating on the separated composite stand and a plurality of photovoltaic panels secured onto the square axle and forming a single-row of photovoltaic panel grid; wherein a certain distance is formed between each row of the photovoltaic panel grid, and a plurality of the photovoltaic panel grids form a photovoltaic array. The present invention overcomes the problem of sunlight blind spots of traditional photovoltaic array power stations, and the present invention can be installed top of fishponds and agricultural lands such that the top of the structure utilizes the photovoltaic panels for power generation and the bottom thereof can be used for growth of agricultural corps in order to achieve diverse utilization of land.

SYSTEMS, METHODS AND MACHINES FOR ALIGNING AND ASSEMBLING SINGLE-AXIS TRACKER FOUNDATIONS
20220356667 · 2022-11-10 ·

An automated control system for a screw anchor driving and truss assembly machine. A positioning subsystem determines an orientation of a machine mast's driving axis relative to an intended drive axis and controls the mast to align with the intended drive axis. After a pair of adjacent screw anchors are driven, the controller causes motion controllers to orient the mast so that an alignment jig for supporting truss apex hardware is held relative to the driven screw anchors and a predetermined point in space.

Actuator driven single-axis trackers

A single-axis solar tracker consisting of a series of A-frame shaped foundation with actuators attached to each leg that are connected at one end to a common rotating assembly supporting multiple solar panels. Concerted action of the actuators causes the common rotating assembly to rotate about an axis of rotation. The system may include a central torque tube supported by the series of A-frame foundations or a frame assembly that is hingedly attached to each A-frame foundation via a torque arm.

Truss foundation adjustment tool
20220056657 · 2022-02-24 ·

A tool for adjusting driven truss components and assembled truss foundations. A bridge separates a pair of collars, each having a pair of offset bearing surfaces that fit around the truss legs. A lever arm terminating in a handle extends away from the bridge to give leverage to the tool operator. The bridge width is adjustable to enable positioning of the tool at different heights along the driven truss components. An additional receiver proximate to one of the collars may enable single leg operation. Lateral and angular adjustment of the lever arm with respect to the bridge may enable greater force to be applied to one leg relative to the other.

MOUNTING APPARATUS

Methods and apparatuses to support photovoltaic (“PV”) modules are described. A saddle bracket has a mounting surface to support one or more PV modules over a tube, a gusset coupled to the mounting surface, and a mounting feature coupled to the gusset to couple to the tube. A grounding washer has a first portion to couple to a support; and a second portion coupled to the first portion to provide a ground path to a PV module. A PV system has a saddle bracket; a PV module over the saddle bracket; and a grounding washer coupled to the saddle bracket and the PV module. Saddle brackets can be coupled to a torque tube at predetermined locations. PV modules can be coupled to the saddle brackets.

METALLURGICAL STEEL POST DESIGN FOR SOLAR FARM FOUNDATIONS AND INCREASED GUARDRAIL DURABILITY
20220038044 · 2022-02-03 ·

A high-grade post or pile system for the foundation of a solar array, which may facilitate the installation of a solar array rack in more corrosive soils. Such a post may also satisfy the need for a foundation able to resist ground forces, in particular the effects of wind on the exterior of the array, and may reduce problems with beam refusal. The post may be used in other applications such as guardrail posts. In contrast to existing posts for solar arrays, the high-grade post may be formed from higher-grade steel.

Various systems and methods enabling low cost solar tracker systems including lower cost mounting assemblies and fasteners are described herein. Reducing the material, manufacturing costs and/or labor required for assembly of solar tracker components can present significant reductions in the cost of solar tracker systems. In an embodiment, a hollow fastener can significantly lower the cost of solar tracker mounting and coupling assemblies while still maintaining strength and structural integrity of the solar tracker system.
