A thermally controllable cupholder that is advantageously designed for marine and other outdoor implementations. The thermally controllable cupholder includes a beverage receptacle and a thermal control device configured to change a temperature of the beverage receptacle. In one embodiment, the cupholder includes a drain passageway and a drain hole that connects the beverage receptacle to the drain passageway. In one embodiment, the cupholder includes a perforated heat sink to promote the thermal conductivity of the thermal control device.
PORTABLE COOLER WITH ACTIVE TEMPERATURE CONTROL
A portable cooler container with active temperature control system is provided. The active temperature control system is operated to heat or cool a chamber of a vessel to approach a temperature set point suitable for a medication stored in the cooler container.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator includes a main body that includes an inner case having a storage chamber; a refrigerating chamber discharge duct that divides the storage chamber into a heat exchange chamber and a refrigerating chamber and has refrigerating chamber discharge ports for discharging cold air to the refrigerating chamber. A refrigerating chamber thermoelectric module has a first heat absorbing unit and a first heat dissipating unit, the first heat absorbing unit disposed in the heat exchange chamber. A refrigerating chamber cooling fan circulates cold air in the refrigerating chamber to the heat exchange chamber and the refrigerating chamber; and a refrigerating chamber heat dissipating fan blows external air to the first heat dissipating unit A freezing compartment is disposed in the refrigerating chamber and has a freezing chamber; a freezing compartment thermoelectric module has a second heat absorbing unit and a second heat dissipating unit, the second heating dissipating unit cooling the freezing chamber. An air guide has a channel for guiding cold air from the heat exchange chamber to the second heat dissipating unit; and a freezing compartment damper controls the cold air flowing toward the second heat dissipating unit through the channel.
Portable cooler with active temperature control
A portable cooler container with active temperature control system is provided. The active temperature control system is operated to heat or cool a chamber of a vessel to approach a temperature set point suitable for a medication stored in the cooler container.
Multi-zone temperature modulation system for bed or blanket
A temperature modulation system for a bed, blanket, or other furniture includes a fluid for moderating temperature change, a number of conduit circuits for directing the fluid through respective zones, a control unit including a thermoelectric device for modulating temperature of the fluid, and a pump. Each of the conduit circuits selectively and independently directs fluid through its respective zone in order to produce a temperature within the zone that is independent of the temperature outside the zone. The system also includes an arrangement of one or more zones in an arrangement in which the control unit is programmed to vary the zone temperature over time according to a schedule.
ENTRANCE REFRIGERATOR
In an entrance refrigerator, a printed circuit board (PCB) on which heat generating components are mounted is disposed inside a housing such that air used to cool a heat sink of a cold air supply device cools the PCB, thereby preventing overheating of the PCB.
COLD INSULATION CONTAINER
A cold insulation container includes: a cold insulation storage including a coolant vessel; a circulating air fan that causes cold air from the coolant vessel to circulate in the cold insulation storage; a thermoelectric generating module attached to an outer surface of the coolant vessel; and a temperature controller that adjusts a temperature in the cold insulation storage. A temperature difference between the coolant vessel and circulating cold air in the cold insulation storage causes the temperature controller and the circulating air fan to be driven by thermoelectric power generated by the thermoelectric generating module.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator includes: a control unit for controlling a thermoelectric module, a cooling fan, and a heat-radiation fan, in which when the outside temperature exceeds the set temperature, the control unit rotates each of the cooling fan and the heat-radiation fan at a high-speed, in which, when the outside temperature is equal to or lower than the set temperature and the storage chamber temperature is in the upper limit range, the control unit rotates each of the cooling fan and the heat-radiation fan at a medium-speed lower than a high-speed, and in which, when the outside temperature is equal to or lower than the set temperature and the storage chamber temperature is lower than the upper limit range, the control unit rotates each of the cooling fan and the heat-radiation fan at a low-speed lower than a medium-speed.
COOLING/WARMING DEVICE
A cooling/warming device according to one embodiment of the present invention provides a cooling/warming device including a case including a lower case and an upper case coupled to the lower case, a fan which is accommodated in the case and circulates air introduced into the case, a thermoelectric device which is accommodated in the case, is disposed on a side surface of the fan, cools some air generated by the fan, and heats the remaining air, and a controller which is connected to the thermoelectric device and the fan and controls operation of the thermoelectric device and the fan. The thermoelectric device includes a first heat transmission member disposed at a side of the lower case, a second heat transmission member disposed at a side of the upper case, and a thermoelectric element disposed between the first heat transmission member and the second heat transmission member. The case includes an inlet through which air is introduced into the case, an air blow pipe through which air passing through the first heat transmission member flows, an air blow port from which the air flowing through the air blow pipe is discharged, a discharge pipe through which air passing through the second heat transmission member flows, and a discharge outlet from which the air flowing through the discharge pipe is discharged, and a bottom surface of the discharge pipe includes inclined regions having different heights at a predetermined point.
