Magnetic desiccant bag
A modulator assembly may include a modulator tube, a magnetic end cap, a desiccant bag, and at least one magnet. The desiccant bag houses a plurality of desiccant beads and is disposed within the modulator tube. The at least one magnet is disposed in the desiccant bag and engages the magnetic end cap to position the desiccant bag against the end cap.
Solid form adsorbent
A solid form adsorbent including a plurality of discrete adsorbent particles spatially bound in place by point bonding by a binder. At least about 25% of the external surface area of a majority of the particles is not sealed off by the binder and is available for adsorption.
Condenser for vehicle
A condenser for a vehicle includes an integrally formed receiver-drier and a plurality of stacked plates. The condenser may be used in an air conditioning having an expansion valve expanding liquid refrigerant, an evaporator evaporating the refrigerant expanded at the expansion valve through heat-exchange with air, and a compressor receiving from the evaporator and compressing gaseous refrigerant, may be provided between the compressor and the expansion valve, and may circulate coolant supplied from a radiator so as to condense the refrigerant supplied from the compressor through heat-exchange with the coolant and the refrigerant.
BRACKET FOR A RECEIVER DRIER
A heat exchanging module (1) comprising a heat exchanger (2) and a bottle (6), the bottle (6) being attached to the heat exchanger (2) at one first longitudinal end (63) of the bottle (6), said heat exchanging module (1) comprising at least one attachment mean (10) located at a second longitudinal end (64) of the bottle (6), said attachment mean (10) restricting at least one axial movement of the bottle (6) along a longitudinal dimension (5) of said bottle (6).
Condenser with liquid receiver
A liquid receiver of a condenser has a liquid receiver main body and a plug removably fitted thereinto. The liquid receiver main body has a refrigerant inflow hole into which refrigerant flows from a condensation section and a refrigerant outflow hole from which refrigerant flows into a supercooling section. The liquid receiver has a first space formed above the upper end of the plug and communicating with the refrigerant inflow hole and a second space formed below the upper end of the plug and communicating with the refrigerant outflow hole. The plug has a flow passage which is open to the first space and the second space at opposite ends. The first-space-side opening of the flow passage is located below the refrigerant inflow hole. The flow passage has a throttle portion whose cross-sectional area is smaller than a hole area of the refrigerant inflow hole.
Heat pump system for vehicle
Disclosed herein is a heat pump system for a vehicle, which includes a compressor, an air-cooled condenser mounted on a warm air passageway, expansion means and an evaporator mounted on a cold air passageway of an air-conditioning case in order to carry out heating and cooling and further includes a water-cooled condenser mounted on a refrigerant circulation line between the compressor and the air-cooled condenser to exchange heat between refrigerant and coolant, thereby reducing the number and the size of blowers and the size of the entire system because the size of the air-cooled condenser inside the warm air passageway is reduced, and decreasing power consumption and noise by reducing capacity of a motor of the blower.
Receiver
A receiver having a receiver housing that has a fluid-receiving chamber, a fluid inlet, and a fluid outlet. A drier is provided in the fluid-receiving chamber. The receiver is has an inlet channel protrudes into the fluid-receiving chamber, which inlet channel has a channel outlet in the fluid-receiving chamber and conducts fluid into the fluid-receiving chamber from the fluid inlet as a channel inlet, the inlet channel being shaped in such a way that the fluid flowing out of the channel outlet flows out in a lateral direction. A condenser having the receiver is also provided.
Modulator for sub-cool condenser
A modulator for a sub-cool condenser assembly including a condenser. The modulator includes a plurality of extruded tubes positioned to convey liquid refrigerant towards an outlet of the modulator.
Refrigeration system with superheating, sub-cooling and refrigerant charge level control
The various embodiments described herein include methods, devices, and systems for determining refrigerant charge level. In one aspect, a refrigeration system includes: (1) a compressor to compress a refrigerant; (2) a condenser disposed downstream of the compressor to condense the refrigerant; (3) an evaporator disposed downstream of the condenser to vaporize the refrigerant; (4) refrigerant lines fluidly connecting the compressor, the condenser and the evaporator in series to form a refrigerant circuit for circulating the refrigerant; (5) at least one sensor configured to measure temperature and pressure of the refrigerant in the refrigerant circuit; and (6) a controller communicatively coupled to the at least one sensor and configured to: (a) determine a sub-cooling level or super-heating level based on the temperature and/or pressure measured by the at least one sensor; and (b) facilitate operation of the refrigeration system based on the sub-cooling level or the super-heating level.
